beautiful locationGood spacious appartment, with two seperat rooms - perfect when you are traveling with a baby who goes to bed 7.30 :) The appartment was clean, nicely furnished and with new appliances. The kitchen well equiped for making small dinners. The surinding area was just beautiful. In the back of the house an olivegrove rises, and in the front you have a spectacular view of the valley below. Outdoor tables are placed so you can sit and enjoy the view. We had some good dinners, wine and cheese with the valley in the backgroud :) You have a hard 15-20 min. walk (walking with a pram) uphill to Assisi center. But if you like walking it is all worth it, since the walk is along a small countryroad, with old houses, fields and again the spectacular view of the valley. Stefano Barabani is a warm and welcoming host, who goes out of his way to help.

worst experience everWe had hoped that our holiday here would be wonderful and hassle free. However, we were greatly disappointed. The heating for the apartment didn't work and myself and my family were left freezing during the nights. We called up to get it fixed, promised were made but nothing happened. We were also horrified to find that the walk to the main town was all up-hill and extremely hard going. The towels and sheets supplied were dirty and probably had been used by the previous occupants. The washing machine was broken. I called up about these problems, but was met with abuse and accusations that I had caused these problems! Never again!!!

Nice place for weekend or vacationNice appartment located in a very quiet area outside Assisi, almost in the middle of field. If you don't drive a car, it is not so conveniet to reach it, but it will be perfect if you have car. It is easy to reach the old town of Assisi and Perugia, we stayed there for the festival "le infiorata" in Spello, which is 15km far away. The apartment is big, clean and well equipped. The owner Stefano is a very kind person. We had great time there.

SuperbBaoluo .....obviously did not stay in this apartment in August 2013......but thank you Stephano for your fantastically cheeky response ! Best laugh I have had in a while. I did stay in this lovely apartment in August 2013. The weather was very warm at the time, definately no heater required. And yes no broken washing machine as I recall ! The apartment was spacious, comfortable, has everything you would want to feel at home and within sight of the old town. Ok there's a bit of an uphill walk to get to tourist area ground zero, , but it's beautiful, if you take it slow and enjoy the scenery along the way. .......I was just checking this apartment out again as 3 years have passed and looking to return to this lovely location.....wish we had spoken more Stephano, and shared some vino on the outside table overlooking the countryside....I think we would have laughed ...and made plans about how to move that basilica down the hill.... Have to push a 2016 option to submit this, so just ignore....was there in 2013
