  dont waste your money!!

  don't waste your time or money visiting this hotel. The hotel itself is run down and the room was extremely dated. When we arrived we went to the Brasserie where the bar staff were not friendly and not helpful at all. The food at the buffet was tasteless and the selection was minimal. Whilst we were sat having lunch, the owner of the hotel ( we asked the wait staff) proceeded to shout at a member of staff in-front of the whole restaurant, making lunch very uncomfortable for all, and not to mention being extremely unprofessional! The lunch staff (two young girls in particular) were lovely and very helpful, and were the silver lining of the whole trip. We then had afternoon tea in the brasserie with the same two members of staff, who were clearly struggling with the amount of customers, with what looked like no manager to be seen. Overall the trip was a disaster; the staff were not friendly (with the exception of one or two), the hotel is in desperate need of a re-vamp and the food was exceptionally disappointing. Definitely won't be coming here again.

  Great stay!

  We stayed for a girls spa weekend and a lads golf weekend. The spa was great, although some of the leisure centre members were a pretentious!! They had great measures in place for COVID, but it did mean you sometimes had to wait to go in the saunas or the outdoor hot tub. Our massage was out of this world and the staff were really attentive. Rooms, evening meal and breakfast were all great and the staff were extremely friendly. The bar was spacious with quick table service. The golf course was very water logged due to the time of year, but again very enjoyable. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend.

  What an amazing place!

  I stayed here with my husband and friends on Thursday 29 October. We did not utilise the spa facilities, or golf, unfortunately, as we were here on a deal which gave us access to Warwick Castle. We will definitely come again and make sure we use the full range of facilities on offer. The staff were amazing. Very attentive and helpful. Quick, prompt service, and their Covid arrangements were, I felt, exemplary. The rooms were lovely, and again, I felt they were extremely clean and had all the necessary Covid precautions in place. The food in the restaurant, for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. We also had a cream tea in our package, which was lovely. Would we come again? Definitely. Would I recommend this hotel.   Very enjoyable stay

  Stayed here for 2 nights in October whilst visiting the area. The hotel has put all the necessary covid secure procedures in place and felt safe. Our room was nice and had a lovely view over the lake. The breakfast was good - table service with everything served to you. We used the spa facilities which were nice. Overall enjoyed our stay.

  Got beaten by a member of stuff and then they sacked me

  Worked at Ardencote some years ago. Poor staff quarters (no windows, situated in basement). Finished some shifts at 3 am and had to be up for breakfast service at 5 am after 3 hour sleep... Worked really hard, got beaten (for no reason) by a drunk member of staff and a week later I got sacked... Shows how much "family business" cares about its staff... Terrible terrible experience!!!!!!!!
