Enough for what you payYou pay cheap accommodation and you have even swimming pool! The location is a bit weird but we had a nice stay over there. I could come back if I would need to. The neighbourhood around is not beverlyhills but is nice to see real thai people how they leave, also few markets with fresh fruits and vegetables around, also 20min walk to pier to phi phi.

Great service, Quiet LocationIf your idea of enjoying Phuket is Patong then it's a bit out of the way. It's walking distance to the much more charming Old Town and convenient for early boat from Rassada Pier. Rooms are clean and bed was comfortable. Very quiet at night, we had a few great nights sleep although it was warm with just the fan that was up to us as we needed the cheapest option. The lady on reception and her husband were extremely helpful on a few occasions and she even went out of her way to ring the last hotel we stayed at, several times, to retrieve our deposit (which they had 'forgotten' to give us). They gave lots of good advice on the different islands. Wifi was hit and miss Would stay here again.

Excellent Location and great Staff A Very Peacefull and Homely Place to Stayoverall, the experience at Arun Seaview was really good,we stayed for 3 nights and find the facilities are clean and nice breakfast was good, the staff can speak English and very helpful, you can rent a motor bike for a cheapest price, me and my husband drove the whole area of phuket, i highly recommend Arun Seaview Apartment.

Staff are friendly, hotel needs work.Stayed here recently as it was close to the port and cheap. First off, this is really hard to find as it is in a part of phuket where there is little to no development. It is situated down a dirt road, expect to see stray dogs and piles of litter everywhere as well as groups of teens on bikes. I highly recommend you get a taxi instead of trying to find this place at night as it doesn't feel like the safest neighbourhood. Woman on the desk was friendly and spoke good English and when I saw her later on she asked if I needed any help with anything which is a plus. The room itself was a basic twin bed room with a fan. It wasn't unclean (It wasn't spotless either, but definitely habitable) and the toilet is situated separately on the balcony which I didn't mind. The rooms do not have actual doors, instead you have a sliding patio door with a lock. It feels a little dangerous considering the apartment block where the rooms are is also home to a bunch of locals who wander around at late times. I guess for me the worst part was that the door did not lock as the lock was broken. Had no problems though. The WiFi does not reach up to the rooms and even when you are connected, its not particularly good. I used my mobile data with tethering to get around this issue but bear it in mind if you don't have mobile data. The photos you see here are nothing like the actual place, my phone is currently broken so I can't show you the view but it is of a swamp with piles of litter whereas the website shows you this lush green jungle. The view doesn't really bother me as I was just here to sleep. That brings me to my next point; The heat. The room was insanely hot - Even with the fan next to me, I was still sweating. It actually was cooler outside than in so I left the door ajar to allow some colder air to flow into the room. There is however an option to upgrade to aircon which I think will be worth it if you have the cash to spare. There is a pool outside which is a decent size/depth. It is shared with all the apartments so expect some Thais to be hanging around it (although I didn't see any actually swimming). The pool is okay for a quick dip however I really wouldn't recommend staying in there too long. I spent 40 mins or so relaxing in the pool and started to notice my lips feeling slimy. What had actually happened was the chemicals in the water had removed the top layers of my lips. I also had some burns on my face around the eyes. I should add that you cannot open your eyes under the water as the burning is too intense ( I have no problem doing this in the sea ). Checkout was easy and fast - Even got a taxi from the owner to the dock for 50 baht which I thought was a very good price. To sum it up - I think that the hotel suffers from a bad location, this has led to less guests which in turn makes it harder for the hotel to correct issues. I think the staff are great people and wouldn't have an issue if the hotel was more conveniently located.

Far locationI missed my boat to Phi Phi and the next would be just next day, looked for a place to sleep close to the pier, found Arun. The staff were friendly but no internet available, they tried 3 different ways to connect, no success. When we arrived, there was a dog and a baby in the lobby (from the owners), it seems like a family room, not a hotel. In the evening, with no car and with kids, was hard to find a place to have dinner, we found one restaurant close, they didn't speak English, it was difficult! The hotel is cheap, I should not complaint. I found one spider walking on my pillow and the smell of humidity in the room was bad. It depends what is your objective...
