  So luxurious!

  As someone who has rarely ever seen a hotel from the inside, this was a great weekend! I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great great time. The room was so spacious, there was a little fridge filled with drinks, a properly sized desk and comfortable chair to work on, MORE than enough sockets for charging devices, a big bed and a beautiful bathroom. I absolutely loved every minute of my stay. Towels were also very comfortable and were replaced daily.

  Good place for a short business trip

  The hotel is very small, which of course has certain advantages. Also the location is good. If you visit SAP Germany and want to avoid Heidelberg for some reason, it is definitely a very good alternative. You can get there either by a shuttle that the hotel is offering - or just on feet. It will take you ca 20 minutes to walk to SAP premises. My room (603) was located on the first floor (same floor as the reception) and was facing the road. Despite that I did not notice any extraordinary noises, good sleeping quality. Nothing wrong with the room, it was good enough for my purpose and free first filling of the mini-bar (coke, water, applejuice) is an advantage for sure. The only negative feedback I have is about WLAN. They did not get it working during my whole stay (3 days). For a business traveller, it is an issue. Breakfast was good, I cannot think of any particular item I left missing. Perhaps the ladies could serve coffee more actively. We just had to "steal" a pot from the other table as our one was too small for 2 people. The fitness center is located in the ground floor. It has one treadmill (which they ask you not to use before 7 am) and a stepping device. There's also equipment for weight lifting. I used the treadmill once and on the second day just went jogging outside. It was quite nice on a chilly morning. Regarding the neighbourhood - it is pretty quiet. If you look for a good restaurant, I'd recommend to just walk down the road towards the Aqua park (if you leave the hotel, turn left). There's a nice Italian restaurant called Tournedo just a few hundred meters away. Note that the reception is opened only between 6 am and 11 pm, so if you go out and return late, you need a key to enter the main door. Not a problem though - upon the check-in you get 3 keys: one key to your room, another one to the safe and third one to the main door.

  Business trip to Walldorf - May2018

  I had one week of meetings in the headquarters of SAP AG company in Germany-Walldorf. For my convenience without renting a car, I didn't take Heidelberg which is the closest major town and also got most of the good hotels fully booked (like Leonardo) so that I booked Astralis Domizil. Walldorf is a small little town which lives due to SAP. Of course the local hotels cannot be very comfortable with large rooms and what one can find in a bigger town, but they are OK for what you need one week. Astralis is convenient located, one could go even by walking to Walldorf SAP premises and even with business in St.Leon Rot, one could take the shuttle in front of the main building of SAP in Walldorf for going to Rot. The rooms are pleasant, not large. Sheets are changed only at 3 days, minibar with first load free of charge is very limited. The small parking in front of the hotel is most of the time occupied as they only have 6 places but the already parked cars are not correctly put in the places. Breakfast is great however and also the wireless which is free of charge. For a business trip of a few days-one week is an appropriate hotel.

  Nice hotel, friendly service

  Very nice, family owned hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean. Good beds and selection of pillows to choose from. The staff (family) is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good, wifi works well. They offer free shuttles to SAP if you need. They have a wellness area but as I have not used it I cannot comment on the quality but given the overall quality of the hotel I am sure it is ok.

  Comfortable and Convenient

  Stayed at Astralis for 5 days for a visit to SAP. The hotel is cosy and comfortable. Rooms are large, clean and come with amenities like coffee machine. The first mini bar (non alcoholic) is free. There are enough power socket in room . It also has Air Conditioner. Sufficient bathroom amenities are provided. The hotel also has a steam, sauna and gym. Used the steam and sauna after a tiring day and I was refreshed. The complimentary breakfast has good spread . The staff are very helpful. The only issue is the wifi connection. The first day when we checked in , it wasn't working. The next day though it was fixed, it was slow on my room on first floor.
