Another excellent holidayAnother excellent holiday, room was very good, food was really nice and varied, we enjoyed our time around the pool (a little cool to get in but ok after a while ), The staff are friendly especially the waiters Aris and Andreas. This was our fifth time at this Hotel so some thing must be good. Even the thunderstorm on the Friday was something to behold and we enjoyed the after storm walk up to the Taverna for an afternoon snack but next morning all was back to normal - Lying in the Sun, Hope to see you all next year - Gordon and Jill

Really averageWas put in a old room was really poor Bathroom was dated shower was broke had to get that fixed. Drains were kicking right up if you left bathroom door open and came back to room later. Pillows were rock solid Food was nice and varied. Like your average all inclusive cattle market at peak times . They have a lively pool in middle of resort And a quiet one at top near restaurant. Really pleasant, just annoying as they give you coffee cups cardboard ones . Reception bar 2 male staff really rude and awkward. Pick and choose different bar etica. Really annoying people. On a night not enough seating area for everyone to sit and chill out . No music on in the background and only seen entertainment once. Gym ok if only 3 people are in it Anymore its hectic as most machines are tired and need replacing just like the bar staff i mentioned earlier. Nothing going on outside the hotel one bar opposite which is dead all the time. We went every other night into tigaki which is 10 euro there in taxi Was lovely there bars and restaurants. Nothing hectic just a really nice place. Would not stay here again glad we did not pay alot for this visit . If you do you will be greeted by arge on reception

Sun Set on the beachGreat hotel nicely kept and well set out, decent size rooms but with a small balcony which struggles to accommodate 2 people. Fantastic location on a beautiful beach with crystal clear blue water where you can watch an amazing sunset (that no one Reps or hotel staff told us about) but fortunately we found out. Food ok but gets very samey by the end of the week, Also waiters very much bias towards the Scandinavians, saving tables and cleaning the cutlery away very efficiently while leaving the British tables until they had no other choice. This is a resort/hotel that favours the Scandinavians who out number the British by far, saying that we had a fantastic week there as we went not to be socially active but just to chill and relax.

Great hotelWeve just returned from a weeks stay at the marmari beach hotel with a 9 year old boy & 6 year old girl, we have all had an amazing time, the room was kept clean and we had a huge balcony. The food was lovely, the only thing was my little girl had an upset tummy from something which we still dont know what, we were all ok though so maybe something just didnt agree with her. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and all kept asking how she was. The only little grumble that I have is there wasnt much for my 9 year old to do, theres a football court which he spent a lot of time in but at night its in complete darkness usually they are flood lit at night. The entertainment at night is aimed at younger children. To say its a family life hotel youd think there would be much more going off for children at his age, if wed have been there any longer he would have definitely been bored. The pools are lovely and clean, you can get towels for the pool also which I didnt know so no need to take your own. Everything was on shutdown so was very quiet outside the hotel and nothing open at night time, think the Thomas cook situation may have had an impact on this. George and Aris at the pool bar have made our holiday and are a credit to this hotel. Most of the guests are German & Swedish that are very very rude so be aware of this. Apart from that weve enjoyed it and are sad to be home. Also was our 9year olds birthday last Sunday came back from the pool to a card and the biggest yummiest cake youve seen Apart from my little grumble we have had a lovely time and may return one day.

Bad start but brilliant holidayWe arrived after midnight ,on arrival at reception we were hurried through booking in with no passports etc shown just our names and dates we were staying,we were shown to our room by security who never offered to help with cases up the stairs. when we went into our room I thought what a mistake I had made booking here the beds were stripped and quilt thrown on a chair, dirty glasses with drink in them on side and shower was filthy. We went straight back to reception where we were told to go to restaurant for a drink while he sorted, no apology. On return we were given a new room but had to collect and carry our cases to new room which was fine with balcony and water in fridge.the reception staff after this were great we never saw the old chap again. We received a card apologising in our room along with a bottle of wine and fruit.meals are great lots of variety and nice and hot. We ate.at the Greek taverna twice where the manager Manos was brilliant and ran the taverna really well.the food here was fantastic. We ate at the green and grill but werent over impressed how close the tables all were and the burger was a bit spicy for my liking. Our room was cleaned regularly and fresh towels left daily. You dont pay for the towels or the safe in your room. We didnt have to pay to keep room on last night as we were the last flight out from hotel and it was closing that night.. Kostas was very helpful on reception and the bar staff in reception were friendly and very fast especially Daniel. The entertainment was good and different show each night they were very professional and the costumes were great. The whole hotel and grounds were very well kept and a pleasure to walk round. The pools were nice but we used the beach all the time as lovely beach and plenty of sunbeds. As we were late in season not much open near the hotel but we used the local bus to Kos town at 2.10 euros each , buses ran 100 yards from hotel. We hired a car out and visited the therma beach, kardamena and paradise beach. We had 14 nights and weather was brill for end of October no rain at all.the beach and beach area was kept lovely and tidy and litter free by the chap working on the beach.
