  Quiet comfortable super friendly

  My friends were looking for an easy comfortable, simple place to start out visit to koh lanta, and this place was perfect, they only had 1 night, then fully booked, so we moved, and if needed we would visit again... The nice man also gave us a ride in his car with all our luggage to our next hotel, very kind...

  Nos trataron muy bien y todo era de muy buena calidad, limpio, bien ubicado y amables. De lo mejor del sudeste asiático, encima muy barato. They treated us great. Everything in the hotel was clean, good quality, great location. The caretaker is a nice guy. One of the best hotels in sutheast asia, also very cheap.

  Easy, comfortable and nice vibe

  Good value, Sata is quiet and very helpful, safe, nice balcony where you sit and talk with your neighbors..., 8 mins walk to the beach via next door resort. Some good and cheap eateries around and the Fat Monkey, really good and little higher in price.

  Clean,quiet,nice place to stay

  This was the first hotel we stayed in Thailand.Its inside a narrow street so you dont have traffic noise and its like no one is living there you hear nothing !! Inside so organized and practical there was a comfy bed a safe a tv an open closet a mini fridge and you can also boil water for coffee etc. The bathroom small and also clean as the towels ! There was a lovely smiley woman cleaning the room every day so nice and fresh feeling. Fresh water bottles every day .The owner is also kind and helpful. Its close to the beach and to almost everything with a scooter.Cats around the place belong to the owner so well treated and happy .In the morning you listen to the muslim church that is close which also gives a peaceful feeling . A balcony to sit and relax :) So satisfied we really reccomend this hotel , if we will visit Ko Lanta again we would be happy to stay there

  OK for an overnight stay...

  Am I being difficult? Or have I been spoiled before at this price range? I was a little bit disappointed by Baan Por Jai. My wife and I spent one night at Baan Por Jai and were given a room on the second floor. It was simple, clean and functional. The en-suite bathroom was OK. Yet, the room felt a little bit 'tired' with strange smells at times and was lacking natural light. WiFi was not good. I missed this "little something" that I have experienced in so many places throughout Thailand before at this price range - and we have visited many many! There is a boiler in the room (but no coffee / tea - bring your supplies - there is a 7/11 nearby). A little bit of a language barrier at check-in but not too big of an inconvenience for a basic check-in / moving to the room. Overall OK one-night stay. Yet my wife and I decided to move to another location as of our second night in Koh Lanta.
