  No frills but comfortable, convenient, and very affordable!

  I recently spent 3 nights at the Baan Say La Guest House. It is a guest house, not a hotel, so don't expect it to be fancy. But it was more interesting than staying in a hotel. My room at Baan Say La Guest House was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were great and the location is fabulous, with literally dozens of restaurants and shops within a five minute walk. Given that it is in such a bustling area, I was really surprised by how quiet it was in my room. Baan Say La was an excellent value for the price and I would definitely stay there again. If you don't want to share a bathroom, opt for the balcony rooms on the third floor. Bonus - you get your own balcony, where you can sit and look at the mountains and soak all the Chiang Mai activities on the streets below.

  Nice and Clean

  Spent 3 nights at this guesthouse this time, this is my second time. The room is clean and well equipped. The amenities are provided daily. Good location and easy to find some foods and convenient store. The only comment is the TV list should have been provided as it is too difficult to find the channels Will stay here again when visiting Chiang Mai

  Really peaceful environment

  I really loved the couple of nights we spent here. The bed was SO clean and comfortable! It felt like an old ballet studio also. The cool, spacious concrete amplified the peaceful feeling I felt here.

  Perfect location

  For the price and location this place is amazing. Very comfy nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again. Bathroom shower was kinda weak but all good just took me longer to shower. There was a hiccup checking in but was taken care of right away. Workers all very nice.

  What a gem!

  This is such a great place to stay at. Very calming and chill, with charming decor that's simply delightful! The room was very clean, air-conditioning works and plumbing works well. One note to those with heavy luggage. The place only has stairs, so ask for help or request for one of the rooms on the 1st floor instead.
