  A simple but nice place to stay

  This is an older hotel. Staf is very friendly. Can't help to say that the hotel is a bit outdated. It is clean but has no frils at all and is overpriced for this reason Evevator is very narrow and smal (3 people tops) Beakfast in the moring is very good, evrything you could wish for Its a nice place to stay but no real luxury 130 Euro for 3 people is overpriced

  Find a different hotel

  I stayed at this hotel for a conference at the university. It is very close to the university, but that is about all it has going for it. The entire hotel smells really old. I feel like I am in my grandmother's house from the smell. The front desk seems to be unmanned all the time with the front door locked. I am just glad I happened to arrive when someone was around. There is currently construction on the hotel, which should be mentioned when booking. There were power tools outside my window starting at 7 am each day. The tv is from the 80s and extremely small. I wanted to watch the Olympics in my room in the evening but could barely see the tv from across the room. There are power surges that make the lights flicker all the time. The wireless is spotty at best. Finally, the "shower" is a bath tub with a sprayer. There is no shower curtain so you have to sit down to shower.

  Great breakfast and very clean room

  I love this hotel. Staff are very friendly and polite. Every morning, I had a great breakfast and service too. Location is quite good and no traffic noises. You will see how polite people work there and enjoy.

  Quilts/blankets too small + cold room = discomfort

  The bedsheets/quilts/blankets were too small to cover my whole body: when covering my toes it only reached up to about my breasts. In combination with a cold room, this was a bit of a problem. Luckily I was staying by myself in a two-person room, so by also using the quilts of the other bed, I managed to create a manageable situation. The hotel is however nicely situated right next to the RWTH Aachen campus, which is it's main selling point. The rooms were also clean, and the hotel is reasonably priced.

  Great stau

  Would definitely stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was nice (we had a triple room with 3 single beds which were all very comfy) and warm, our room had a wonderful view of a turm, breakfast was simple but nice, there is lots of free street parking, and it is close to the town.
