  Old School Japanese Style Inn

  This place is wonderful and is an experience that everyone should try at least once the Tatami Floors are wonderful as are the Futon Beds since this is a very old inn the Wood Features in each room are also wonderful

  Spoiled from staying at this wonderful property

  From the squeeky clean wooden floors, the crisp linens/robes/towels, to the wonderful meals AND kind, friendly staff, we could not have been more spoiled! The location was a bit of a walk from the station, but not too far to make it easy to get around. It was my husband and my first stay at a traditional Japanese Style Inn (my sister's second) and we loved it. My sister's birthday occurred during our stay and the women who prepared and served the meals gave her a surprise cake with candles for breakfast and when we returned from our day out, they had left a birthday balloon on her door. The staff was wonderful! We enjoyed exploring Sendai and a couple areas north of town on the coast.

  Nice Ryokan in the middle of the city.

  This is a decent accommodation if you are eager to check out the Japanese style rooms and all the rest. Here all the rest means a really nice Japanese breakfast and an Onsen style public-bath, takes upto 4 people. Though, I used it twice, and in both cases I was the only one. Everything was clean, and I had a good experience despite the language barriers. I also think that I had a discounted rate due to early enough off-season on-line booking, which made it nicer.

  Perfect stay!!!

  The room was perfect. Customer service was professional and extremely helpful. Bath was small but jacuzzi style for men was grand! Would love to stay here again. Inviting the family and friends for the times!

  Very pleasant stay

  Surprisingly pleasant. Very clean, quiet, and spacious room. It has everything you need - hot water to make your own hot beverages, big table to place your lappy, bills, drinks, food, etc. Futons were of comfortable size. Shared bath area and toilet were always clean. Family mart and small restaurant were just around the corner. Walkable distance to parks and train stations.
