  Great job

  Great job guys, as usual smiles all around even during this time, and always so pleasant to deal with. Never and issue and service was 5 stars. Lol understandbly so, but breakfast in a bag wasn't horrible. Keep up the great work guys :)

  Great staff but property just not in good shape

  The staff really were excellent, friendly, efficient, and helpful and I think they are trying to do the best they can. Check in and out was a breeze and the couple of questions we had were cheerfully answered. But the hotel is just old and falling apart and its going to take more than a couple of new mattresses to address the aging infrastructure. The room was superficially clean (dont look in the corners tho) and the beds were comfortable and linens clean. However, huge gaps around the door meant no darkness and no quiet, screen in the window was gaping open in the corner and ripped along the edges letting in bugs if left open, and the AC would work for about 5 minutes before shutting off leaving the room hot and stuffy - not to mention the noise of it meant you could barely have a conversation in the room never mind sleep. We thought we were booking into the tower (which is currently closed) and ended up in the renovated section by the pool - fortunately facing out rather than into the courtyard, but musty chlorine smell permeates the entire building. Ive stayed at the property several times before when it was still the Red Deer Lodge, and I was hopeful that the new brand would mean a renewed investment in this conveniently located hotel, but they seem to have done as little as possible to be able to continue to charge people to stay there. The rates were low, but not any lower than other properties in the city. We will definitely look elsewhere next time we visit.

  One Night

  Front desk personal was very friendly. My wife and I stayed in room 304. Clean and a comfortable king bed. They did offer a pre made breakfast, but we passed on that. Was very quiet. Would stay here again.

  Old poorly renovated

  Dark, small hallways, had to use rear elevator which did not give a sense of security. Cold room. Vehicle beside us was broken into. Old hotel poorly renovated. Cold bagged breakfast - no Continental breakfast. Basically you got a cold room - nothing else. Very disappointing.

  Great Weekend Stay

  We stayed here as a couple for a weekend away from the kids. We ended up with a room on the main floor that walked out into the garden and pool area. Im glad the pool wasnt open due to current restrictions as it would have been very noisy in our room - However if you were staying in this area with kids it would be ideal! We even saw a room that had bunk beds in it!! The garden area was nice to walk around in and there are tables and benches that some guests were enjoying playing cards etc. Our room I believe was a Jr Suite which has a bedroom with a queen bed - bed and 1 night stand in the room. A bathroom, and a living area - we had a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. Breakfast is available in to go form from the front desk. Absolutely the friendliest front desk Ive ever encountered with top notch customer service.
