  Excellent holiday, already booked again

  We stayed here for a week in room no.2. Accommodation was lovely, the breakfast set you up for the day. Nothing was ever too much to ask of Tilly and Phil and we are looking forward to staying here again next year. Would highly recommend.

  Birthday Weekend

  Greeted at Beckmead by the Owner Tilly, lovely young lady who was very welcoming and showed us to our room on the 1st floor. Nothing was too much trouble for Tilly & Phil. Breakfast times were 08:30 to 09:30 , a bit later would of been better. The Breakfast room was set out Elegantly with Quality tablecloths and napkins, delightful cutlery and real china Cups and Saucers . Breakfast was excellent Choice of Fruit juice, local yogurt compote, fruit, cereal, various Teas and Fresh Ground Coffee. Cooked Breakfast was a full english with any type of eggs. They even offered Soft boiled eggs with Soldiers. Phil was the perfect host and even gave me gluten free bread. He had time to chat and nothing was too much trouble. Little problem in the bathroom was could not bend head in sink to have a wash as shelf was directly above the sink. Other than that it was Clean, Welcoming and Cosy and we will come back to stay

  Wonderful place to stay

  Our first time staying at this lovely b&b and it wont be our last ....its spotlessly clean our room was fantastic with a few nice little touches the owners were very friendly and helpful we asked if we could have a later checkout and would pay ...they said no problem and theres no need to pay extra.   Greeted by owner tilly lovely young lady who was very welcoming and showed me to my room nice bed and breakfast guest house phil had a nice hot breakfast for me each morning nice pub round the corner from the bed and breakfast guest house nice hot food from 5.00pm have been to windermee be fore l will try and get back here the next time when in windermere a welcome place to come and stay all so very quiet in side and outside

  Couldnt have asked for better. Perfect stay!

  Very friendly welcome from Phil who shown us to room 2 Immaculate Modern facilities and decor Comfiest bed ever! Come and go as you please Good free WiFi Perfect central location We didnt have breakfast but wish we did! We was hoping to return again in May but it appears youre booked up every weekend practically all year and Im not surprised. Thankyou for the perfect stay.. you should both be extremely proud of what you offer
