  What a lovely place!

  We spent the weekend at Beechfield and absolutely loved it! The hosts and staff are extremely attentive and relaxed. The atmosphere is chilled. It is dog friendly which is lovely for non-dog owners! The heated pool is a must and our kids loved it. Lots of covid-friendly measures in place. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner and would really recommend eating here! We booked directly and got a better deal than on other sites. The location is fabulous for the Cotswolds, Bath and so many beautiful places to explore! We will definitely be back!

  Afternoon tea wifes birthday

  On 18th October I booked a champagne afternoon tea, first class service from when we arrived until we left, our waiter could not do enough for us and presented us with a glass of champagne. We had a room to our selves with a fire, the tea was proper leaf tea with a strainer and lovely crockery, the food was fantastically presented and very appetising, selection of sandwich fingers, cakes and scones with cream and tasty jam. We were asked at several times if everything was satisfactory by our waiter, the whole experience was 10/10 and set in lovely ground. Would certainly recommend for a relaxing afternoon

  Lovely break

  We stayed here with our children and dog from Tuesday to Friday and were very impressed. The children loved the pool and the fantastic breakfast and all the members of staff that we met could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. In such difficult times all at Beechfield House surpassed our expectations and at all times we felt the hotel was very Covid safe. Thanks to all, we hope to return.

  Family gathering after a funeral service

  Beechfield House accommodated 15 of us (the number of people allowed within government guidelines) for a family gathering after a funeral service. We had been looking for somewhere we could meet to share memories of our late relative over tea, after his funeral service, and Beechfield House was one of the few places which would even consider such a booking. We were all very impressed with the amazing tea, the sensitive and unobtrusive service and the beautiful hotel and grounds. Having a private room, and time to reflect together on our loss, while sharing fond memories and a delicious tea, made it a very special afternoon for our family. We were aware that the hotel was only operating with a few staff members because of Covid, but we wouldn't have known that from the personal service they gave us. We are all very grateful for care and attention given to us, and would highly recommend the afternoon tea. We are not able to comment on any of the other hotel amenities, as we did not stay overnight.

  Pre-Christmas break for a couple of nights

  We picked the Beechfield House hotel for a quick break before Christmas. We weren't disappointed - it's a lovely, peaceful spot, the staff were polite and attentive, the room warm, welcoming and extremely comfortable, and the breakfasts delicious. And the heated outdoor swimming pool in the walled garden looked very tempting for the summer months. The hotel was also well-placed for trips out to the likes of Lacock, Longleat and Bath. Like hotels and pubs everywhere, this one is working hard to beat the lockdown restrictions, and we're very glad we could support it.
