  Aron Hotel Rossdorf, Darmstadt

  This little hotel outside of Darmstadt is simple. Small rooms, but with comfortable beds and clean - nothing fancy. It is situatie in a small industrial area on the edge of town, so fields & woods are nearby. Grocery store very close by. Frankfurt am Main airport is about 45 minutes drive, if there are no traffic jams. The staff was friendly.

  Great base for the Football World Cup

  It was a great base for the World Cup. Reliable buses nearby for the ride to the Darmstadt Train station. From there, it was a quick ride to Frankfurt city centre. Also a quick drive to the airport. Definitely value for money. The one slight hiccup is the hotel management. Staff were great, but the management were a bit loud and aggressive sometimes...with their employees and with some guests.

  Dangerous hotel

  I want to warn everybody, if its a fire in the night time this hotel its very dangeous. No safty at all! Signs to the closes exit is missing on many floors, one emergency door LOCKED, one emergency door was blocked. And so on. We know becuse we had a fire alarm in the middel of the night. Can you imagine the panic you feel when you gone open an emergency door and is LOCKED?! We thought offcourse it was a fire. But its was a false alarm. We should be happy for that because if it was a real fire this hotel is very dangerous! We had to wait 30 min for staff to arrive to hotel. Then one lonly girl came. We couldnt sleep that night. But hotel refused us any discount on that night! We asked her to give us a phone number to any manger but she said she couldnt give us. I have traveled a lot in my life but never heard something that stuppied!! By the way during all 5 days we stayed there we only met ONE staff. But I understand why its a ghost hotel, lots of rooms but no guests!

  Good mattresses in bed Breakfast was ok Almost no channels on TV The bathroom was not clean The service was really bad

  BEWARE !!!

  Hotel has changed names and changed hands. Now called Agnus. Travelled here for business. First night in room with little to no bedding and curtains that didnt close. asked to be moved and was put into a room on a floor that was empty and strewn with rubbish as was the room. Was moved again to an OK room. Felt very unsafe and service was an abomination.
