  Hotel en un lugar bonito

  Reserve este hotel hace un tiempo para ir de visita a Nottingham. Lamentablemente se encuentra lejos de la ciudad y el acceso sin coche es prácticamente una aventura. El lugar es bonito, todo rodeado de bosque. Las habitaciones necesitan una reforma y nueva decoración. El baño estaba renovado hace poco. El edificio es precioso, y el bar es muy bonito, con chimenea.

  Stopped by for a bank holiday afternoon drink

  When i received my bill i realised that the coffee has been charged full, and today is the last day of the government eat out to help out scheme. I brought this to the attention of a melt with a beard around 5ft 8 approx. He was very rude and said "we don't normally do this and if you want your £1.50 back you can. I then keot quiet. When he came to my table to give the £1.50 he took the opportunity to add his dissatisfaction, by repeating "we don't normally do this etc etc" I am astounded at such a poor low level way of speaking to customers. My understanding of the government scheme is to encourage an economic upturn by offering 50 percent discount on all items excluding alcohol. I think what he was trying to say is that they didn't do this for coffee. My understanding is you are part of the scheme or not, but it doesn't afford you to pick and choose what aspects of the scheme you will be comfortable with etc. A shocking bad experience from a very rude person. Will not be returning ever again.

  Shocking

  I don't like writing bad reviews but my experience was very poor and I need to do this. For a Best Western Hotel this was shocking as we use these alot in different area's. Food I will start with the food not the greatest of meals especially the onion rings and the chicken was very dry. Room Very cold and no option to switch a heater on. At around 12 we was both waken by scratching and a munching noises coming through the cavities or floor boards. We had to sleep with the TV on all night. My partner had to leave at 5.30 for work but I stayed. 5 minutes later I thought my partner had forgotten something as the door opened, to my surprise was a member of staff checking the room but left as soon as she saw me. Bathroom This was very small as seen in the picture. My experience was terrible and I would advise not to stay here. Not the cleanliness of rooms.

  A civid-safe return visit

  The three of us returned from our latest visit here yesterday. The staff are friendly and helpful, as ever. The full English is available again, it wadn't a problem having to order in advance. The coffee we had with breakfast on Monday was much nicer than we had the previous 2 mornings. I don't know if they changed the blend but it was very noticable. My only comment about breakfast was having margarine rather than butter for the toast but that is just me. We had dinner here each night and the menu was enhanced with a daily special. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. We look forward to our next visit here, hopefully, later in the year.

  Lovely nights break

  I am so happy I came here. Emily provided wonderful customer service. I was able to secure the room I wanted and nothing was too much. Great grounds for walks. I will come again. Wish I had stayed longer.
