  If you dont mind being treated poorly, this is the place for you.

  Its outrageous. We have repeatedly called front desk and been sent straight to voicemail, only to walk down a minute later and see the front desk worker sitting at the desk playing on YouTube (and ignoring phone). We have made basic inquiries for things like pillows and blankets for fold out (which you would expect to be in the room already) and had to ask about 5 times to actually get help. Every small request is met with disdain and complete lack of interest in helping the very few customers they have at this hotel. Its not any wonder its as empty as it is. I even asked for the manager, Vijay, and was simply told that he stepped off the property and was unavailable. When I asked for him to call me, I received no response. Aside from the bad service, it bills itself as a family hotel with a kitchenette. The rooms are bare bones (our kitchenette features exactly one glass, 2 coffee cups, 3 bowls, 1 large plate, and a handful of utensils. The walls are super thin, so if you have a neighbor who either watches TV or he more than one child, YOU WILL HEAR EVERYTHING. The front desk is no help in this regard (since they cant be bothered to answer phone). Then, depending on which side of the hotel youre on, you either get the 12:20am train blaring through horns a-blazing, or the freeway can lull you to sleep. The location is fine, if youre lucky enough to be put into a room on the western half and have kind of an ocean view of you hang off the balcony . Otherwise your views are the strip mall and highway. And despite the hotel being fairly empty, they are not willing to accommodate requests to change rooms. The hotel is pricey because of the location. If you dont mind shockingly bad service, its the place for you.

  Robo-hotel

  The location is very good which is why I went there. I had seven days to stay in a hotel and I didnt even sleep there that night because the chair had spots on it and I asked for a First floor room and I got the third floor. It is their off-season and it didnt look crowded at all. Guests were smoking in the parking lot not in the designated area.

  great location

  Great location, 1-block from Moonlight beach. Lots of shops and good restaurants. Great place for a summer getaway! You can tell rooms have been remodeled and the decor has been up dated. The staff was friendly and helpful!! Great price for the the area. Definately will return after Covid to enjoy all that they have to offer

  Beach Stay

  I stay at this location several times each year and love the location. Its walking distance to one of the best grocery stores in Encinitas and Moonlight Beach access is less than 1/2 mile away. You have the option to get a room with an ocean view and they have side patio decks on the 2nd and 3rd floor that make for a great place to watch the Sunsets. The ocean view rooms also have a spectacular view of Encinitas and the ocean as well.

  No room service and lousy customer service

  We stayed in the hotel for 9 days. We got no room service and went to the reception to ask them 3 times for room service or simply to get more toilet paper. They responded with "I couldn't find any in the storage - sorry" or "we'll send someone to your room", which they never did. So we had to go and buy our own. Also, we stayed in a suite with a tea kitchen, so we could cook our own food. There were no utensils or any other things to cook with, so again, we had to spend additional money to buy the basics so we could actually utilize the kitchen. Only good thing about this hotel is the location.
