  EXCELENTE HOTEL

  Creo que es uno de los mejores hoteles en relación calidad precio que he estado. Es genial el ambiente acogedor, su personal muy amable, el desayuno perfecto, y si unimos la piscina climatizada, el gimnasio, la sauna y el jacuzzi dan como resultado un lugar idela para pasar unos días en la costa oeste de Irlanda.

  Worst experience ever

  The worst experience ever. Senior manager very rude and no customer service or no people skills. And hour waiting for the dinner and had to re order it again. Breakfast was another disappointment, son found a metal object in his breakfast. Never again. Faulty Towers, but no funny

  Very good hotel

  Kay from the reception is the best . Food is perfect. Breakfast at 7am helps getting to work early. will definitely re-visit. There are a lots of space for parking and near to the hotel building, only short walk.

  Hotel & management are terrible

  Re-posted as the hotel must have had it taken down.. Booked in Jan for my wedding in June 2022. Because of the 5km restrictions this was done through a zoom call, which we found went rather well. We offered to pay the deposit to the wedding co ordinator Caroline on the call to which she replied "wait until restrictions lift and come view in person and pay deposit then but the date is yours." Ended the call and went on my way and booked makeup, cars, flowers etc which wasn't easy due to many couples moving their weddings to next year. I also got personalised bits as we had our date, or so we thought. One wedding guest, who was very organised thankfully, rang to book a room for our wedding, to be told that we weren't getting married there that day and that another couple had it booked. At 1st I thought dont panic its obviously a miscommunication so I rang myself to also hear the same news. Caroline said that "she didn't remember telling us we had the date" and there was nothing she could do. Now I panic! I am left with a whole wedding booked and no venue and no offer of help. I rang back and asked to speak to a general manager as I thought this was very unfair & unprofessional. The 2nd couple should be told they made a mistake with the date as we had it 1st. While waiting on a call back I managed to get the owners name and number.. Joanne! I explained the whole thing to her and after she spoke to her wedding coordinator she rang me back with the same dirty attitude. There was nothin they could do. Thankfully in the few hours this all went on i managed to find another hotel. So when Joanne offered we 'simply move our date' I told her where she could stick her hotel. In my opinion now, it was a blessing in disguise as we got a new dream venue and after reading the reviews here on how dirty it is, how rude staff are, I think everything worked out for the best. If you are thinking of booking your wedding here...DON'T

  The Happiest day of our life's. Westport Woods Fantastic!

  Wow, where do I start? September 2018..we got engaged! We did the usual shopping around and wedding fairs. My husband is from Mayo and we always heard great things about the Westport woods. After a few wonderful visits to the Westport Woods talking to Caroline, trying the menu, etc. we were treated like royalty. We became convinced that this was the place to share our wedding with all our family and friends. We never looked back. Booked our date and paid our deposit with Caroline and began the process of wedding planning!!! Roll on 2020......you know where this is going guys.....Due to get married on the 19th September 2020. A global pandemic ripped our plans to bits.... so after a few heartbreaking decisions and thought processes, we decided to go to the Westport Woods for advice. And WOW! They were AMAZING, gave us all the government requirements and even showed us a mock-up of what our wedding room would look like with restrictions, walked us through every situation, and gave us so many options. Caroline was truly wonderful. We decided to go ahead with our original date and heartbreakingly cut our guest list down for the government. The Big Day arrived. The best day ever! The sun came out, every detail that was planned was executed by the fantastic Westport Woods staff, Caroline as wedding coordinator was like something out of a fairytale wedding movie. Seamus, oh my sweet Seamus...his attention to detail was magnificent. One of the sweetest people I have ever met, also a best friend for life. Love you. Our ceremony was conducted in the new Woodlands ceremony an absolutely breathtaking backdrop. Words cannot describe the scene. Our musicians were able to play and the sound was like a theatre of happiness. After the ceremony, our family and friends were treated to the most perfect homemade canapes and champagne cocktails. My father-in-law is still dreaming about those canapes! The dinner was amazing and the night was fantastic. This was the best day of our lives! The hotel and the staff were superb, their attention to detail and their personal touches made us so happy. Our wedding plans may have been affected by covid but the actual day exceeded our wildest dreams. I want to thank everyone at the Westport Woods especially Caroline and Seamus. Looking forward to staying with you this September. See you soon and stay safe. xxx
