  Absolutely horrible place to stay!

  I can't believe this place can remain open. I read all the scathing reviews about this place, but I always keep an open mind because of false reviews. I've never, ever stayed in a place as bad as this. From the moment you walk in to the reception area the stench of tobacco smoke hits you, its obvious that they do not restrict smoking. The room I had, number 5, at first seemed quite nice. Unfortunately as I looked further, it got worse. I turned back the bed sheets and found soiled sheets that had been poorly washed. Lucky enough, because I was setting off on a camping trip I had my sleeping bag with me. There wasn't a WiFi code in the room, so wanting to watch the football on my laptop I rang the owner for help, what a mistake. He gave the code, but it didn't work, I asked him to repeat it. He then flipped and then verbally abused me like I've never been spoken to before in my life . My phone auto records phone calls, but before sending the recording to the police, I decided to ring him the next morning to see if he had any remorse, more abuse using F words and C words! ...

  Avoid at all cost!!

  I phoned the owner after finding out we couldn't tavel due to the covid 19, i was ringing to explain we would have to cancel didnt even mention money, he shouts f**King great and then hangs up so I phone back slightly confused to whats happened. He then starts shouting calling me a letch using foul language am a f**king this that ans the other, feeling rather intimidated i say why you talking to me like this. He then carry on swearing calling me names and the f word. I have never being spoken to so rudely in my life. Avoid at all costs the rude awful man.

  See before you pay good money-don't book online!

  Went here, (no convenient parking) and found no one at reception, just a series of notes outside. When inside, it was as described in other reviews, I preferred to sleep in a clean car than a soiled bed,in an uncleaned room The bulb blown, ang I dreaded the fire safety, none was apparent. The proprietor refused any reimbursement or credit to when the place was clean. Disappointing that the online rental sites don't check what's on offer, or at least read the reviews.if they had to offer a refund for not being of the quality and safety demanded, things would soon change! Have stayed in many places,last 45 years. never one this poor DONT PART WITH MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN WHAT IS ON OFFER

  Avoid

  I hadn't even got as far as booking this accommodation and I find myself so angry that I am writing a review. I only enquired on line about prices per room per person and received first a reply that didn't even answer my question and then a rude reply whereby he called me a "pleb". Shame because I really wanted to support a local business.

  WORST EVER ACCOMODATION!!!!!!

  If I could turn back the clock and avoid this place I would do so. The room was dirty and uncleaned. I was told that due to the small number of guests (who seemed to be on benefits and drugs) there was no breakfast available. I lasted one night and that was one night too long! The owner was the rudest foul mouthed person I have ever come across in the way he talks to his guests. There was shouting during the night from him effing and blinding at guests. This awful man does not deserve to succeed. A half decent person could make this place a success. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
