Un hotel un poco abandonado
Tengo que decir que este hotel fué una maravilla hace 20 años cuando los jefes inspeccionaban el personal, limpieza, habitaciones, etc. Ahora parece que estos jefes ya no estan al loro de lo que sucede en ese hotel y la cosa ha cambiado radicalmente. Os dire que mi habitación tenia grietas en el techo del cuarto de baño debido a filtraciones de agua, con lo cual el techo estaba en parte descascarillado. Otra cosa que quería decir es que la pared era empapelada y que cierta parte de la pared estaba con el papel levantado. Por lo demas os puedo decir que por el precio que pagamos (150 tres noches incluido desayuno) no se puede pedir mas. Hay buena comida en el restaurante a buen precio.

Staycation
Set in the Woollen Mills complex, this hotel needs updating. The public rooms are fine, but the bedrooms are faded, the carpets need replaced, and ours suffered badly from condensation. That said, the bed was comfy and the shower above the bath was powerful. Its a shame that the draught from the water flow made the fabric shower curtain billow in round you. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and the breakfast (inclusive) was excellent. Despite my criticisms, this is a good value hotel, right in the centre of the village and the Mill complex. Wed stay again.

Lovely hotel with onsite pub
Visited this hotel for a 2 night stay. Hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Room was very nice. Good solid mattress and pillows. Breakfast was spot on, cooked fresh and with a wide selection . We ate in the pub on both nights and the food was first class. The village is small but quaint. The castle is right beside the hotel and has lovely gardens and a cafe. Nice for a quiet relaxing few days

Me and my partner stayed in the hotel on Thursday 24th September for one night. The location is pretty good if you want to visit Blarney castle and thats it. There is a lovely shop on the ground floor with big choice of clothes, gifts and presents. The check in was quick. The receptionist explained that we have to pre-book the dinner and breakfast which is reasonable. The room was not good enough as it had a terrible smell of old furniture and probably there was a guest smoker before us. The furniture was old fashioned which is ok but the stains and the mould could be cleaned more properly! The stains on the wall were filthy. Probably, the result of drink spillage... The complimentary fan in the cupboard was full of dust which is unacceptable. The main light bulb was gone, so only 2 of 3 were working. Also, the desk lamp was working strange as you could not turn it on before you turn off every single light, but later it started to flash so I turned it off immediately not to cause a fire! The next point is stains, stains and stains. They were everywhere: walls, furniture, doors. The finger prints in the bathroom on the tiles were ridiculous as it looked that someone was holding the tiles during the sex! The toothpaste stains on the right side of the bathroom was a joke, seriously. This is the first check point for the housekeepers... One of my favorite part was shower: mould and shampoo bottles. The mould was in every single corner, especially around the half poured shampoo bottles. The only thing I was happy was the dinner and breakfast. The waitresses were friendly and lovely. The dishes were amazing as they were big sized and fresh at the same time. Old fashioned restaurant is always attractive. The breakfast was lovely as well. We were served by a woman who looked after us. I got an avocado toast which was brilliant and my partner got an Mini Irish breakfast. We had enjoyed our breakfast so much. In a nutshell, the hotel requires a big change in terms of room updates and housekeeping procedures. But the stay overall was 3 out of 5.

Exceptional facilities, exquisite ambiance, excellent staff and fantastic food.
First time in The Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel, fell in love with the concept, the minute I walked through the threshold, met a goddess in Rose who seamless checked me in, and gave me a beautiful room on the 2nd floor. Met some wonderful hospitality staff in Dolores and Damien. Dominic Heaney has such an amazing staff, excellent facilities and between the food in The Mill and Christy's, this is an exceptional hotel in the heart of Blarney Village. As an ambassador for TripAdvisor, I would really recommend Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel. Rose is the best thing in this hotel and she's a credit to the building.
