    4 days .

It was the worst experience we ever have in the resort. First the check in. I was the only one and took the lady at the desk almost one hour to find my reservation. After asking the manager and the other lady over there. .I requested a nice view. They put us in the ground floor with the construction machine as a view. The unit wasnt clean. And at the entry sheets and blankets from the other unit on the floor. I called three times to let them know about it. They never came to pick it up. I call asking for dishwasher detergent and washer detergent. And toilet paper. They said they will sent somebody. Still waiting. We ended up leaving a day earlier because I was feeling like a was in a box. They said they didnt have other units. Bed was fine and confortable. The carpet was very dirty. And I dont think I will stay there again. I thought they were very taking the cleaning very serious because of the covi. But wasnt what I was expecting. I have to clean and spray Lysol everywhere. I told the lady at the check out about everything. And the manager call me to apologize. But it was already too late. They need to treat people with respect. And hire people to do a very good cleaning job.

Resort staff is always very helpful. we had a minor noise coming from the dryer in our room. We called the maintenance department and they responded very quick. next morning we we left called them to say we were headed for the day and when we got back had brand new washer/dryer unit. The room and view was spectacular.

    Gatlinburg Micro Vacation...

The Resort: Located in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee or as I now refer to it as the resort on the hill. The resort is a hybrid of hotel and cottages; I stayed in a one bedroom, one kitchen, very cozy cottage. As stated above, there are very steep hills in and around the resort. My ears popped just leaving my cottage and getting to the bottom where you leave the resort. Lucky for me even though the weather was very cold (mid 30s) it wasnt enough for ice otherwise Id have to break out the Depends! The resort is just off the main road and behind a blind turn if youre coming from downtown Gatlinburg. Ive accidentally drove right past the entrance when not paying enough attention. If youre using Google Maps, you cant go wrong. It takes you directly to the club house. The Room: (109B) is a one bedroom, one bathroom, and full sized kitchen suite. You walk directly into the living space from outside. The fire place is gas and has a timer up to one hour of flames before you have to reset it. As I mentioned, the kitchen is full sized so you can cook up your meals instead of eating out every day of the week. Theres a grocery store right down the street after making a left out of the main entrance. The bedroom is of adequate size and so is the bathroom. They have a jetted deep tub/shower combination and a total of four light switches for various lights and fan action. This room is a bit tight but perfect for couples. It sleeps up to four with a couch/bed. I would suggest couples only for this room; a very intimate space. There are about four parking spaces directly in front of the unit but you can park in others if they are hogged by multiple car families. The entire room had either hardwood or tile flooring and in excellent shape. The fire place gave off a bit of heat so youll need to keep an eye on the thermostat if you really want to stay warm in the winter months. I do have to say it gives great ambiance to the room at night. There were two flat screen TVs; one in the bedroom and the other in the family room. There is a plethora of channels to choose from. There is a stackable front loaded washer and dryer located between the bedroom and bathroom. The cottage is a duplex and I believe the other one next to mine must have been a two bedroom because we heard noises above us. The ceilings are vaulted in both bedroom and living room giving an airy feeling. The kitchen area is a bit tight for two people but doable. Theres a full size refrigerate, normal sized microwave, full size dishwasher and a deep sink. It is very functional and they include tiny salt/pepper shaker, dishwashing liquid and other niceties. The Lobby: It is very roomy with multiple stations for club employees to check you in. The employees were polite, asked about my trip to the resort as well as explain the amenities. The Grounds: I went in February so most plants are dormant but still the grounds were neat and tidy. The Parking: Parking was plentiful when we checked in as well as other areas in the resort complex. As stated above, there were four spots in front of my cottage and only once I had to park across the cul-de-sac in another spot due to four cars beating me to my parking area. The Area: Lots of stores around the area; all within fifteen minute drive. They had lots of rentals for jeeps, Can-Ams, Strykers and other vehicles. A plethora of pancakes houses; boy these people love their pancakes! We wanted to visit one for Sunday breakfast. It took three calls to three separate pancakes houses before we found one with a fifteen minute wait. Everybody else was half an hour to forty-five minute wait! This was around 10am so obviously to beat the crowd we should have been went out around 8am or so. The main district where all the shops and foot traffic is only 15 minutes down the main street. We were VERY surprised by the amount of people walking about during this Covid-19 time. There were so many people some had to walk in the street to get around standing crowds. Needless to say we opted NOT park and brows the stores but went over to Pigeon Forge instead. Location: The resort is smack in the Smokey Mountains and even though the ear popping from elevation changes is annoying I loved it. Pigeon Forge is only a 15 minute drive away and seems to be a totally different world. Its flat and about 1,047 feet above sea level whereas my cottage was around 1,667 feet above sea level. If you main visit is Pigeon Forge and you love mountain living, Id suggest you book a stay at this resort and commute to P.F. If you stay on the main road through Pigeon Forge long enough youll end up in Sevierville, TN in about another 15 minutes or so driving so you have a TON of things to do within a half an hour of this resort. Final Thought: This room is excellent for couples! Small, cozy and intimate. The resort is nicely located and seems to be in a different world away from Pigeon Forge of downtown Gatlinburg. I believe its roomy enough for a family of four if you have very small children. It would seem a bit too tight if you have teenagers. I had a great experience and plan to revisit in the future. It will be during the warmer months since most of the rides and local activities where shutdown due to the cold.

    Nice condo style resort

This resort is conveniently located just a very short drive into Gatlinburg. Very clean, comfortable units. But BEWARE!!!!! Every building has a basement floor with units that from the front look out at a block wall and from the back have a view of the maintenance building. There are trees that make looking upward toward the mountains hard to see. ASK FOR A HIGHER FLOOR WHEN MAKING RESERVATIONS!!!
