  Not for the business traveler

  The hotel is located very close to the train station, but this is its main advantage. The rooms are clean but very simple and the bathroom is tiny (and not exactly inviting). No air condition (and in early June the room was unbearably hot) and the noise from the street is very loud, even when windows are closed Checking in was fast and efficient and staff was very nice. When I was (much) younger I could have tolerated it much easier, so I guess that this kind of a hotel could fit students or maybe backpackers that might appreciate the relatively low price

  It's ok.

  Very good location. 2 minutes walk from train station. 3 minutes to close shopping mall (Denner, Migros). Not big, clean rooms. Likable but monotonous breakfasts. I was there for 4 days and for me was ok and can recomend it.

  OK.

  First, it is not easy to park, but the hotel gives you the possibility to park inside the next parking lot for a cheaper rate. In the evening, the reception is shared between hotel and restaurant, which is fine, but after one long day of work, it is definitively a bit annoying to wait for the check in. Room is very basic but fine and clean, very small bathroom. A bit noisy as you are next to the train / bus station and the room is not properly soundproof. The very good point was the restaurant downstairs, I just took a soup and juice but it was very tasty and the lady was very friendly. So the hotel was a bit expensive for the room itself, and I couldn't rest very well, but it remains ok.

  Convenient Location & Helpful Staff

  Budget friendly for the Zurich area....with good wifi in room. Down to earth, clean and reliable and good breakfast. No hot water kettle in room but the bar downstairs can give you hot water if you want to make tea in your room. Close to Migros, other shopping and pharmacy. Frequent trains to Zurich airport across the street - about three per hour. Trains go directly to lower level of airport, and cost is about15 CHF for a one way, second class without half-price abonement. As the other reviews wrote, no air conditioning, and there is some noise from but can be managed with ear plugs.There is an elevator on a side door if you are carrying heavy luggage but it is not obvious from the main entrance. Overall: Highly Recommend. Will stay here again when in the area.

  We stayed here for 2 nights, the room was quite small and the decor is a bit dated. However, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and mostly we were able to park directly outside the hotel. For the price it was good. Although there was some noise from the bus/train station outside.
