  Friendly host and lovely cottage.

  The cottage was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The surrounding area is amazing with ample segregated parking space for residents. A small kitchenette provides a hob with 2 burners, a mini-fridge and sink mostly intended for light snack preparation as minimum crockery is provided. In fact there weren't enough cups for all of us. Luckily I always carry my travel kettle as only a moka pot and two large pots were available. The bathroom is spacious and the cottage is cleaned and serviced every day. As there are no mosquito nets installed I would recommend some mosquito repellant during the hottest months. Every night we slept to the sounds of the nearby dogs, peacocks and other birds and woke up to the crowing of the rooster which made our stay there more rustic. Internet is limited to the restaurant area. Breakfast is served in the restaurant area which is open to the public for lunch and dinners. On one night we had dinner at their restaurant. We were not impressed by the secondi as the quality of meat selection & cooking in the mixed meat grill and the lamb was just about acceptable. Dessert & liquors ended our dinner. The host was friendly and always ready to assist us as their cute dog Charlie. The horse-riding experience in the surrounding fields was amazing. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to repeat as the location was quite central to our travel needs.

  Great family and experience

  We were fortunate to stay one night with Franko and his wonderful family. Much more than a beautiful setting and break from tourist mania, the family were warm and welcoming, the food delicious (eggplant dishes were to die for as were fried ricotta and fritters) and even gave us an impromptu hands on cooking class the morning we checked out! Such a treat. Pretty much everything is home grown... sweetest tomatos ive ever tasted. We felt like we were invited into their home and left like departing friends.

  Lovely Experience

  We visited this place a week before Easter. Everything was lovely. The owners are extremely nice people and did their very best to answer our questions and to make us feel at home. Room spacious and very clean. Location in the countryside so quiet and peaceful with animals on site. Charlie, the farm dog, is adorable. Parking in the property. Food...lovely with genuine products. We had dinner at the restaurant a couple of times. Highly recommended. The only little downside is internet that was often very weak in the room but other than that....lovely.

  Amazing fresh food, beatiful views and nice host

  Great Location, fanatastic etna views. warm welcome by Franco and his family. The food is superb, fresh from the borgo ( all at reasonable prices). The visit to the cheese farm provides you with insides of the art of cheesmaking through five generations! Graze Mille

  Lovely place - friendly staff - spacious accommodation - kids play area - no pool - easily accessible - good food - good amenities in the room including small cooker and small fridge - highly recommended
