  Worst customer service ever Terry a nb d the general manager Laura should not be in the hotel business worst customer sh

  So we booked a hotel night through Pricelineecalled the hotel and talked to Jessica at the front desk and told her we had two small dogs she told us it would be a total of 25.00 for the dogs so my wife went and paid the 25.00 and got the key and brought it to me while she went to work me and the dogs went to the hotel were Jessica was still at the front desk and said hi to me and the dogs as we entered I was there with the dogs fir about two hours before the wife showed up after she got there I went to run some errands about 25minutes after I left my wife called me and said that the front desk keeps trying to charge another 25.00 on her card it was a new front desk lady Jessica's shift was over so the nb ew lady Terry decides that she is going to try to charge are card another 25.00 because Jessica told us the wrong amount so we explain to Terry that we paid what we was told by Jessica but she says will jessica is no manager and you will pay the other 25.00 she tried to run are card 85 times in a hour and a half saying that the general manager Lauria told her to keep trying it so I called terry at the front desk asking her what was going on and she told m.j e I'm going to keep running your card till the 25.00 is on there I have my bank statement showing she tried running it over 80 something times in a hour and a half time I asked for the general nb managers number and she would lo d nb t give mbv e ut saying I could talk to her the next day so I ask her so w hff at are we gonna do till then she says I'm gonna keep running your credit card so we shut are card off and terry then tel look s m.j y wife either you pay mbv e 25.00 are I'm gonna call the cops so my wife finally gets Laura's phone number and tries calling her like 12 times but she would not answer so mu wife gets on facebook and writes what was going on and then her phone rings with Kaura the general manager calling screaming a nb d yelling saying what do you want mbv e to do and says are hotel does alot for the community so we can basically treat people anyway we want I would not ever go back to th iij svu profession nb al hotel ever Terry and Laura do not need to be running anyone's hotel

  Great property

  This property is awesome for Romantics and others looking for a peaceful weekend. This Historic Site has been remodeled and brought up to Modern standards but still has the classic look of a luxury hotel from the 1930's. The room was immaculately clean and well-appointed. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The check-in was quick efficient and the clerk was extremely friendly. This property is actually pet friendly, they only charged $25 to have our miniature dachshund with us. We were not able to get the complimentary breakfast because of covid-19 protocols.

  Horse show stay

  Our first stay at the Bothwell was during the Mo State Fair Society Horse Show. We loved it! Charming, clean, friendly staff and best of all pet friendly! Parking is not an issue. Nice location on the historic Sedalia town square. Walking distance to restaurants and wonderful local coffee shop. We will definitely be back.

  Classic hotel with beautiful rooms

  The hotel is in the perfect location for a cyclist touring the Katy Trail. It was an easy cycle to it. It is located on the courthouse square close to several dining places. The hotel was very clean and my room beautifully appointed. The bed and bed linens were heavenly. The room was quiet and I was permitted to bring my bike to my room. My only complaint was their bagged breakfast. I experienced thee on most nights of my week long bicycle tour on the Katy. This hotel's bag breakfast was quite scant with only a Rice Krispie treat and Dole fruit cup and bottle of water. Most other hotels had a more substantial breakfast with a piece of fruit, breakfast bar, maybe a large muffin and choice of breakfast beverage. The hotel appeared to have a nice breakfast room that was closed.

  Excellent once again

  For the eighth year in a row, I brought a group of bicyclist to the Bothwell. Once again, everything was perfect. My bike touring company takes me all over this country. and no other venue has consistently been as together than the Bothwell. Historic Elegance is how it is best described. Great staff. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Fantastic food. I will be booking soon for the 2021 tour. Simple stated. If it aint broke, dont fix it. It's ALL Good! Bubba Bubba's Pampered Pedalers
