  It is not too bad if we are comparing its quality againts its price

  We booked 2 rooms, Thai House style, and even though the room is not too perfect but it is clean enough and I like the terrace pretty much where we can enjoy the mountain and garden view. Also there is a beautiful relaxation near by the river. Good for people who is down to the earth and love the nature. Breakfast is so so..!! There is a good local restaurant 5 K.M. far from the resort and we had a good local dinner anyway.

  Beware! No customer service, won't hold to online booking, everything overlooked!

  Horrible customer service at this resort, would never recommend to anyone. Booked 2 weeks in advance for a romantic anniversary weekend which was completely overlooked in every aspect and made the stay unpleasant. BEWARE! 1. Buritara offered a unique private dwelling at a heavily discounted price on booking.com then gave the room away, placed me in a smaller room and charged me the same amount - no compensation was given whatsoever when normally I would receive something like a free meal or a room rental that reflected a discount like the one I booked. 2. The staff advertises "arranging local transportation" which is more of a scam that they set up with local drivers. Our driver had previous obligations so he could not take us where we wanted to go, only where he had time to go yet still charged the same price.. In the end, he even dropped us off, made us pay and left us at a destination while we had to wait for over 30 minutes in the 40 degree heat for Buritara staff to come pick us up. 3. We asked for a special request - "something special for our anniversary" and instead we were given a handful of headaches. 4. We ordered 'room service' which was a shenanigan in and of itself. With no menu we are forced to pick anything they suggest. we ordered ka-prow kung which was completely raw and inedible - they told us "this is just a special kind of shrimp".. I only ate a little bit and we ordered chicken instead which we could not eat because it was full of bones.Thanks Buritara but your special kind of shrimp lands people including my girlfriend and I in the hospital due to food poisoning. 5. the wifi wasn't strong enough so didn't exist in our room. You will not be treated as a customer, but rather as a dollar bill. There was no responsibility or compensation for this despite contacting the resort and booking.com 7 days ago. Sai yok is far, and this resort is further away. Just go stay in Kanchanaburi , you'll save a dollar and some time.

  Literally the worst place on earth

  Came here on a school trip. The place was dangerous, rooms had electricity that shut off every 5 minutes. Electrical wires blew and smoked every night when our students went back. Needless to say, the staff were useless. What was clearly an electrical problem was diagnosed as a 'aircon remote' problem. Check my tent's glass wall in the picture. One wall actually shattered when my student touched it.

  None stays there. Dangerous place

  Only 2 ladies were there .No occupancy. No maintenance and dirty .Wires all over. Very dangerous place. Very unsafe too. It was like a haunted place. Too scary. They should have been sincere in telling uis that the resort is already closed before we started from Bangkok. It was a total waste and have to look for another place last minute.

  Not a resort, spa, or inhabitable place

  My husband, our two friends, and I booked Buritara through Priceline. It had decent reviews and GORGEOUS pictures on Priceline and Booking.com. We were being lazy so we didn't check the reviews here. Worst idea ever! We took a private mini van from Ayutthaya. When we arrived, our van driver and his girlfriend looked at us like we were crazy and we were at the wrong place. It literally looks abandoned when you pull in. Everything is extremely overgrown and the doors were all padlocked closed at the front building. We eventually found a phone number and called. They told us to come to the back of the property. We passed piles of garbage, completely empty pools, the buildings were in disarray. We were so uncomfortable. Then, the lady at the hotel proceeds to tell us that she doesn't have any motorbikes or transportation. If we want to leave the property to do anything (WHAT WOULD WE HAVE POSSIBLY DONE HERE???) we would have to pay a taxi to take us. We went to see our rooms (the deluxe tents). There were holes in the bathroom in our room and it smelled like no one had been in for months. Our friends' toilet was literally falling sideways. It was horrible. We went back to the van to have a conversation and decided to leave and find a last minute room somewhere else. THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE ACCOMMODATION. Please don't come here and think this is what it's supposed to be like in Thailand, even for a budget accommodation. It's sad, because it seems that they can't keep up with it. The pictures, however, are completely false and you will be in for a very unpleasant surprise should you decide to still give this a shot.
