  no tan cerca pero bueno

  No queda tan cerca del centro de la ciudad. Demora unos 15 o 20 minutos en bus, pero las cabañas son comodas y baratas. Creo que fue el mejor precio que encontramos durante todos nuestros viajes por australia. Las cabañas tenian baño y cocina privada, aire acondicionado, tv cable y refrigerador. Pagamos al rededor de 17 AUD por noche. El recinto es hermoso, como estar en medio de una selva y hay piscina también.

  POOR, POOR , POOR, POOR

  3rd World ,3rd world, 3 world,3 world,3rd world, 3rd world, I could not recommend it to any traveller. I did not fell safe. We locked our camping gear away as we went out.. We left in the morning glad to out.

  DO Not book HERE!!!!!!

  Worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! I booked a powered caravan site over 2 months ahead of time and paid the full amount on booking which to start with is a joke. Every other place I booked with is 1 night deposit upfront. I booked for us and some friends and unfortunately my friend needed surgery so they could no longer come. I contacted Sunland staff to amend the booking and change the name as my brother and his family could come with us instead and they wanted to charge me 2 lots of $54 as we booked one time for 2 different dates. 1 night on the way up to cape and 2 nights on the way home. So because it was 1 booking with 2 different dates I apparently had to pay 2 x cancellation/ amending fees to SIMPLY CHANGE A NAME!!! As I was so shocked and appalled by this i contacted them and they agreed to charge me the lower campsite rate of $34 x 2 and gave me a credit for the remaining $94. WOW!!! $68 to change a name on a computer. Obviously I was unhappy about this so I started googling this park and found the reason why they charge upfront and dont refund ! The reviews for this park are disturbing to say the least. Have a read yourself. I contacted the park and told them I didnt want to stay there and wanted a refund because of the way they had penalised me and they cancelled my booking and charged me another 2 lots of $54 and gave me $54 back. So they literally made $176 off me for nothing absolutely nothing. If they had of just changed the name on the booking we would have stayed there but instead they chose to penalise me and take my money. They didnt lose anything and the booking is still 6 weeks away so I was giving plenty of notice. When I rang and spoke to Erik he was extremely rude to me and told me I should have read the terms and conditions. Yes I booked and paid in full as per terms and conditions. But there terms and conditions are more important to them then the customers and helping them out. The park sounds like a dive, has break ins all the time according to the reviews. Thank god we arent staying here!!!!!

  Rude and unhelpful.

  We were a visiting U14 basketball group if 15 kids and adults. on arrival at 5pm, our original accommodation was less than desirable for children... in a panic I rang Sunlander, explained my group, need for emergency accommodation and asked if they could help. The man said and I quote "I'm just about to lock up and turn alarms on, so call back at 8am in the morning". I repeated my plea for help and he said, he would help at 8am in the morning and hung up on me! Very rude - no problem if you can't help me, but no need to provide such poor customer service. I then rang NRMA Cairns Holiday Park, who bent over backwards to help us. So head there is my suggestion.

  Hi I give this place a 2 star rating. The gentleman in the office gave us the worst two caravan sites in the place. Overgrown with creeping vines and leaves, trees that were cut off 6 above the ground which we tripped on. He could have told us to scout around and pick where we wanted to sit but he never said a word. Next time well know better. Dont go back.
