  Tarifa justa

  De visita por Calexico encontramos este motel que tenía el logo de TripAdvisor lo que nos dio confianza. Por 50 dolares (incluido el impuesto) tienes cama doble, tv cable (direct tv) café, microondas, mínimo nevera y toallas. Puntos a favor: localización, precio, atención. Puntos por mejorar el A/C no funciona como debe ser (se apaga y demora mucho tiempo en iniciar) el tv cable muchos canales bloqueados (control parental), sería bueno instalar intercomunicador con la recepción.

  Lo mas barato en Calexico, cuarto regular pero muy buena atencion

  Es probalemente el lugar mas economico en Calexico para dormir. La habitacion es regular, limpia pero sin lujos. La atencion de los dueños muy buena. Por unos dolares mas quizas se pueda encontrar algun hotel con piscina.

  Reptile warning!

  We checked into a room after having found out our reservation was somehow missing, even though we booked it through Priceline she said her computer blocked it out? Anyways, we left after 45 minutes because there was a LIZARD running around our room, btw it was in our bed, after heading back to the front office we were informed we would be given another room, which we did not take given the seal under the door was missing and even a large rat could fit underneath it. We were informed it had been over an hour and we could not get a refund being as we were there over an hour. After checking our receipt we noticed it had been under an hour and then all of a sudden there was a no refund policy. Needless to say DON'T stay unless you are 100% okay with reptiles, dirty sheets and cigarette burns on the comforter.

  Reasonable value but room is small

  First of all, you're four blocks from the US / Mexican border. How cool is that? You're also next door to the Mexican Consulate - you might find that handy. The room is clean but small. It does have a microwave stacked on the fridge and a coffee maker, but there is no table to do work at. You can somewhat use the low table and bring one of the chairs sitting outside, inside and make do. The air-conditioning took a WHILE to kick in and bring the room down to a comfortable temperature. In fact I was switched rooms twice because I thought the air conditioning wasn't working properly. I was there in March and it was unseasonably warm. Next, window curtains are thin and let a lot of ambient fluorescent light in for the room I had at the back. I did appreciate having a room at the back as i ride a motorcycle and it's nice that it's not immediately seen from the street. If I was you, I'd be inclined to shop around and compare the rooms of the two or three motels that are in the immediate vicinity but if you settle on this place, it's not a bad place to stay. You might consider booking in advance to get one of their larger rooms.

  Comfortable Room, convenient to east border crossing

  When I arrived, it was 108 F. The room air conditioner worked well and soon I was comfortable. The room was clean but very dated. The only available outlet had one of two outlets working intermittently. Good value for the price.
