  Stayed here with wife for three nights is July 2011. The name of the B&B is 10 Caracciolo as in that is its address. We had difficulty in in locating the place initially (driving all day). There are no signs advertising the location, but once you get to No 10 there is a big wooden gate with a pedestrian door cut into it. An intercom on the left has the name (and perhaps B&B. Once in the courtyard the apartments are three flights up. Rooms are all themed on colours, yellow room etc. modern and comfortable laid out. As stated by other reviewers some room overlook the marina. Breakfast is continental yoghurt, pastries, etc. (as photographed by another reviewer. Ideal location for marina. Restaurant one street back a lot cheaper and more authentic. Receptionist very helpful stayed late to let us in (because we couldn't find it on first night). May be a discount for paying cash. We drove by motorbike to Pompeii one day. Staying off the Autostrada thinking we would have a nice drive down the coast. DON'T. The road is terrible uneven cobbles all the way, no sea views. Take the motorway or the train. There is a railway station right at Pompeii ruins. You have to pay to visit the top of Mount Vesuvius. A rouged bus goes through a national park to the top, you walk the last 600 meters or so. Its the same price from Pompeii or if you drive half way up the mountain yourself.

  Very nice

  I booked the Caracciolo 10 as part of our football trip to Naples to watch SSC Napoli Vs Arsenal at the Stadio San Paolo. Caracciolo 10 is about a five minute walk from Mergellina Metro station (the Metro runs from Piazza Garibaldi which has connections to the airport) and is approximately a 35 minute walk to Stadio San Paolo. The bed and breakfast is quite inconspicuous as it is located on the third floor of a sea front building. There is a little sign for Caracciolo 10 on the front. The rooms are colour coordinated and we stayed in the 'Orange' room. The bed was made up of two singles pushed together. There was also a two seater sofa and a small table in the room. The bathroom consisted of a bidet, toilet, sink, bath and a shower with decent water pressure. Our view from the balcony was lovely as we could see the sea as well as the mountains and the beautiful architectural buildings facing us. Caracciolo 10 had a very personal feel to it as it doesn't have an abundance of staff and the space is very intimate. The breakfast is of the continental variety; tea, coffee, croissants, yogurt etc and was very well presented when brought over to our room. Although I would suggest requesting milk if you are having tea as none was supplied. Free WiFi is available and check out is at 11am.

  One night stay.

  We are staying in Rome and came to naples for one night so we could go to pompeii the next morning, arrived and the receptionist was nice and helpful when the air con wouldn't work and gave us iron etc upon request. The room itself was ok too but nothing special. The shower is uncofortable as the bath is tiny and the shower curtain is not long enough so it's just in the way and sticks to you and the floor is drenched in water by the time your finished. Fridge in the room wasn't plugged in when we got there so it took a while to cool down and baby's milk and water was warm. It was ok for a one night stay only.

  Good location, comfortable rooms

  I spend 2 nights there while on business travel. Being a regular visitor to Naples, I would say it one of the good B&B in the area. Big room with enough space to feel comfortable, sofa and table in the room. Breakfast is served at the room at pre-arranged time. Enough sockets to charge phones and notebook together. I was in the orange room. Location is really good - close to Mergelina station; practically on lungomare (perfect place for a walk); Realy good view from a small balcony. After 6:00-6:30 is getting a bit noisy because of the traffic, otherwise the sleep is good. Few places to have meal only meters away. Definitely will stay there again.

  Comfortable and practical

  This B&B is on one of the floors of an ancient Palazzo facing the port of Mergellina; it's close to many restaurants and a reasonable array of local functional shops. Good connections by bus and easy walking distance from Castle del Ovo. The B&B is spotlessly clean and comfortable and you are provided with a substantial breakfast with excellent coffee. The beds were huge and we slept really well and just generally the place had a clean, efficient and modern feel. The window and little balcony overlooked the sea from a side angle. It was a charming place to be and we were very happy there. We were 3 and our son slept on a comfortable sofa bed. The two ladies who dealt with Caracciolo 10 were kind and helpful; booking taxis for us, providing us with help or what we needed such as an extra towel. We look forward to returning at some point.
