  Excelente ubicación, instalaciones anticuadas y dueña antipática

  Sin lugar a dudas, la ubicación en la orilla del Lago Mayor supone el 80% de la valía del hotel. Tiene un estupendo jardín con acceso por una miniplaya al lago para disfrutar de unos baños en tan soberbio paraje; si el tiempo lo permite. Las habitaciones que dan al lago tienen una terraza con unas vistas preciosas. También tiene aparcamiento y el acceso es cómodo. Las instalaciones están bastante anticuadas, las camas no son muy cómodas y el baño es pequeñísimo. La limpieza es aceptable y el desayuno deficiente (café, zumos barateros, pan y poco más). La que parece la dueña y está en la recepción es algo antipática y desconfiada. No obstante la relación calidad/precio es buena y el lugar magnífico.

  Experiencia unica: vistas increibles, optima posicion, trato entranable

  Hotelito acogedor delante del lago con playita privada, personal super amable y atento, vistas impresionantes desde las habitaciones. Sitio tranquilo y super recomandable.

  Very nice lake view hotel

  At arrival we immediatly received an upgrade. The room is spacious, clean and modern with a litlle fridge. Hotel personel speaks english and is very helpfull and friendly. The private beach area provides sufficient beds/chairs for the guests with service. Breakfast is good with good italian coffee. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but offers lunch/snacks. At walking distance, 15 minutes, you have some nice restaurants in Fiorino.

  Disappointed, dated hotel, could not agree with description of superior room.

  We have previously stayed in Lake Como, so decided to change location and chose Hotel Carillon. As we were there for 4 nights decided to choose a Superior Double or twin room with a lake view, with a shower, TV, telephone, safety deposit box and air conditioning. I requested a Double bed . On arrival I was dismayed with the room as it appeared dated and tired. The Double bed consisted of two single mattresses put together and made up as single beds with one top blanket as a double. The water pressure was so poor at times we struggled to get the soap off us and was very small, neither of us being on the larger size frame. The internet was poor and quite often hit and miss if we got a connection, like going back 10 years in time despite it stating it was High speed internet as a result we were using our own 4G connection. It also stated it offered currency exchange when asked I was told by the owner, no they do not do this as its illegal, she went onto try and say it meant the two currency levels ? There was only 1 bin in the bathroom, non in the bedroom. The private beach, was more of a slip way for the boats, more than a private beach as few people could have really lay down on it. Our room was directly opposite the lift therefore got disturbed quite often by guests, going in and out the lift. Not the hotels fault but the people on the floor above, seemed to constantly be playing musical chairs. The safe, you had to get the central locking mechanism from reception , barely fit IPads in. Although clearly the room use to have a fridge, it has clearly been removed and although, does not state there is one, it would be a benefit to have one. Came back from a late night and the Air con had gone off, had to go looking for staff to get it restored. Breakfast was Fine and service by staff was excellent. Car park was handy, good. Slight road noise but nothing too much.

  Family managed and rooms with wonderful view!

  I know Carillon Hotel for over 20 years. The service is consistent and the family is 100% on top of the business. They run the business with care and soul. All the rooms have a wonderful view. A great option for the summer, when we have a comfortable area for sun bedding and swim in the lake. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Definitely a choice for a week away from busy work routine .
