  Nice place in a great location

  Stayed at the 3rd floor apartment for 5 days, we had a great time, with a great view from the balcony in the morning. The metro station is just a few steps away and places to shop and eat are all around the area. We enjoyed the plaza España and the Parç Montjuic both very near the place. There is a great nearby place that serves great Chinese food with rice cooked in a wok especially for Asians who have the cravings. The kitchen in the apartment is fully equipped that you can cook whatever you feel like eating. Supplies can be bought at a nearby grocery that open still midnight.

  A good way to stay a week in Barcelona

  It was a nice surprise this apartment. The house is a little old but the apartment is brand new (remodeled). It has everything. Nice kitchen, two good room and a great bathroom. There aren't many bad thing to say about "Plaza Espana Apartments" except: - The wifi is very slow; - There are no clean services on the apartment; - Due to the location there is a little noise from the street.

  Disappointing, far from the photos

  Firstly we moved to Plaza Espana Apartment 2 and the beds were separate alhough we have stated we wanted a king size bed for each of us and then we recognized that the leg of bed was broken. They have interested with this problem and then we moved to Plaza Espana Apartment 3, in the next floor. There were lots of problems that i can't count: 1- The beds were separate and it was impossible to sleep together. Mostly it is likely to fell into the hole between two beds. 2- The air condition was not working, it was also broken. Especially, in the evening, it was really cold in the flat although they provided us a small heater. 3- Hair dryer was not working. As 4 people, it was impossible to dry our hairs. We should have to buy a new hair dryer! 4- The Remote Control of DVD player was missed. 5- You can feel the metro's coming. The flat was vibrating all the night. It was not possible to sleep comfortably. 6- The Tub in the bathroom was not deep enough and that would make the bathroom a small lake after each bath. 7- The house is too old and especially windows are too thin and it is hard to close them. You can hear all traffic jam all day long. But at least the bedrooms were far away from the main rood. That was the good point. The only good things are: - Metro station is so close (only 10 meters) and it is so close to city center. Kitchen has everything to cook. - It is so easy going to airport. Airport buses are departing only 3 minutes away.

  Cute Apartment

  We stayed in Plaza Espana Apartments for two nights. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor to the right. We loved it, it was modern & clean with two sets of French doors opening onto two small balconies which we loved. The apartment was perfect for us. We turned up early so had to wait for rep but not a problem as there is a bar across the street. There are plenty of small restaurants & shops close by & the metro is 2mins away (although we walked most places or used taxis). The only things that would have improved our stay were a proper hairdryer (it would have taken me an hour to dry my hair with the one provided!) wine glasses & a functioning safe (the rep was unable to activate the safe) but we managed. One thing I would mention is only one of the bedrooms has aircon .....not a problem for us but possibly in mid summer it could be very warm. The flat is in a great area & felt very safe. We would definitely stay in this apartment again.

  Good overall location, busy street

  This apartment building at Creu Cuberta 50 was advertised as Casa Felipa Plaza Espana. We were welcomed by manager Rafa, and checking in a little early was straightforward. Rafa and Ana were also very helpful when dealing with our luggage on the final day. The apartment was sufficiently roomy and seemed well equipped. There is a small lift. Wi-fi was provided and was reliable and fast enough. The location was perfect for a day excursion to Montserrat and the Magic Fountains of Montjuic are nearby. There was a fair bit of traffic noise on our side of the building, overlooking a busy street, which was a bit irritating the first evening, but we hardly noticed it on the second night.
