  Blissful tranquility

  Old, appealing, charming, small but cosy, peaceful and quiet Very spacious rooms, good for families. Sofa bed mattress. Kitchenette; no kitchenware but the management with gladly assist all your needs upon request. Beachfront, no beach but beautiful ocean views. We requested an electric kettle which was happily provided. Don't mind the distance from hotel to Lanang road, for peace and tranquility awaits you here. Food was great with generous servings and also generous servers. If it wasn't for the old dilapidated fixtures falling apart everywhere in the room I'd have given it 5 ratings. The management should take necessary measures to fix the room. Most taxis wouldn't know the place 'lizada village' so tell them it's beside Davao beach club

  This cann easily become a better place

  the location is very good. the view is fantastic. the pool is small but cooling. the room is big, has strong aircon, balcony , big bathroom and kitchenette. the food was mediocre, the service was friendly but not competent. they are more talking with eachother than paying attention to the guest.

  Worn Out!

  OK, it has a view. In fact, it's one of the very few properties in Davao City that actually is on the water. That's a plus. Nearly everything else is a minus. This building is just worn out. It isn't clean. It's broken in lots of places. It appears that the intention is to just get what money they can out of it without any attempt to improve. And the staff tries to be friendly, but this is "in the box" thinking. What I mean is if it isn't on the breakfast menu, you can't get it. Want bottled water? You wouldn't drink the tap water. Then pay for it. Bring an adapter for two prong outlets. The wiring here has been updated in 20 years. Shower? Look at the photo. Mold on the shower curtain. Not swept under the bed. And the grime on the shower fan and the AC unit! Disgusting. The bed? No mattress cover. A blanket that was thread bear. Pillows? Would you use that one? Pool cushions covered with bird crap, torn and very old. Look at the rest of the photos and decide for yourself. And it's really not close to anything. You have to get a taxi just to get away from the property. Finally, I doubt the cooking staff has ever had any real training about how to cook. The food was marginal. It was a mistake to ever go here.

  Ironkids event

  We arrived early at the resort around 8am. Im so thankful because they allowed us to checked in early. The resort was a great place to rest after my kids race at the Ironkids event. We just took 10 minute (kuliglig) trike ride then a 5 minute walk to Azuela Cove. Everything went well. Although the place was kind of old but it doesnt smell old. The bedsheets and towels smells clean. They always clean the room. They are also proactive, if we needed something. And I want to commend Jezzel Celeregia their receptionist for making an effort to send back to my home address the flashdrive i left from the room. I came all the way from Cavite. The procedure of sending it back was very smooth. Thats an excellent customer service. Kudos to Jezzel. I truly appreciate her effort. Thanks again.

  Come for the view

  This had been a much awaited return at this hotel. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Life would be whole lot easier if you overlook a few things here and there. Like the clogged kitchen and bathroom sinks or the exhausted interior and exteriors including worn out room fixtures and furniture and bathroom wares. So was expected, as was experienced before and read over the years. Nothing changed and that's consistency. Our room was found clean with fresh linens. Electric kettle provided on request. Scrumptious breakfast each morning and traditional Filipino styled tasty meals at lunch and dinner. What more do you need? And let's not forget the beautiful ocean & Samal island view right outside your balcony. Just step outside and breathe that untainted ocean breeze with the ever so calming green and blue. I can overlook all the negatives of this hotel to that.
