  Ideal for two-night stay

  If dated decor does not faze you this downstairs apartment (No. 5) is a terrific place to stay. Spacious dine-in kitchen with sufficient utensils and appliances, a lounge with a table to work at and a telly, double bedroom, twin bedroom, separate toilet and good bathroom. Quiet.

  Receiving itinerary doesnt mean you have a room

  By other reviews travelers appears happy, unfortunately we never got to stay. Although we had acknowledgment we were arriving and given credit card details even penalties for no show when we arrived they had no record of us and no rooms. We were told another motel had a room but in the 5 minutes it took us to get there that room mysteriously disappeared. We were left with no room. From the receptionist reaction the booking and no room booked appears to be a regular occurrence. Rather than complaining I just want anyone booking a room to double check they know your coming. It appears a great motel well priced, good location and clean. Unfortunately we didnt get to stay there. Dont book on line call

  Not what expected

  Despite booking direct with hotel apartment was right on the road, and very noisy all day and night. Screen door had no latch, so no way of locking so we could have the inside door open and still get some fresh air. We advised when booking, have a wheelchair user, and were assured the apartment was suitable for disabled access - WRONG! - door not wide enough for chair to enter the room, no access to the toilet using chair, no rails in bathroom. Fortunately the user was having a good period, and did not require to use inside the unit. Foxtel - thats a joke, discovery channel and a couple of sports channels - where was news, kids and general entertainment. Beds - mattresses old dirty and stained ( discovered when the bottom sheet disappeared down the bed when slept on - beds not even remade correctly on service day ). Would not recommend the serviced apartments side of the property at all - even if convenient for needs.

  Noisy, cheap, clean, dated

  Stayed here while a family member was in hospital nearby. Room was very dated, sheets and bathroom clean, floor could use a solid clean. Room was very noisy from the nearby highway and also car park noise. Signs everywhere saying youll get worse rooms if you book via a booking agent which is disappointing when the booking was done by a third party (ie out of your personal control). Would only stay here again for the location of being close to the hospital.

  Great price

  We stayed here when we had an appointment at the Monash Hospital. The manager was very friendly and couldnt be more helpful. The motel is ageing a bit but its very clean, in a great position and very well priced with friendly staff. We couldnt ask for more.
