  COVID Precautions Nonexistent - Stay Away if you are Concerned about COVID

  Not a single employee was wearing a mask/face covering. Almost no guests were wearing masks. There is an obvious atmosphere no concern for the safety of guests when it comes to COVID. The hotel is old and very rundown. Ice machines were not working. Swimming pool was closed for "maintenance." If you want to avoid elevators, know that the stairwells were full of trash. Best to avoid this place completely. Not much good to say. We called corporate today concerning mask policy. We were told that it is up to individual hotels whether staff has to wear masks. There is no corporate policy. This is very disappointing to us and shows a compete lack of concern for customers' health. We have stayed at Choice Hotels for many years, and unfortunately the will probably change now. We probably won't even keep our reservations for the remainder of this trip.

  The most disgusing

  As a choice club member, I was in shocked at the deplorable conditions! Reeked of drugs....prostitute outside, homeless surrounded the area, tree branches and logs in the parking lot.......very dirty!!!! Choice club was wonderful enough to allow cancellation and booked at a safer and super clean Comfort Inn..... DONT GO!!!!!

  What nice surprise.

  We booked this property at the last minute (spent too much time furniture shopping up the street). I was a little skeptical when we found that this was a huge, older, mega hotel. Once we checked in we realized our error, booking a room with no fridge or microwave. Usually, not a big deal but tonight we brought our own food to prepare for supper. No problem, our host quickly changed us to a suite that provided these amenities at no extra charge. This type of customer service is over and above and we'll not forget it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I noted that the building looked older but, our room was fresh and up-to-date. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

  Nice comfortable stay

  We were traveling through and stayed at this Beautiful, large hotel with clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast in the morning. The restaurant also has amazing food and a nice bar. Will stay again.

  Comfort inn and suites

  This is ridiculous our room was very hot smelled horrible the faucet in the shower for water pressure was horrible, then just when we are sleeping we get woke up by screaming and disturbance of a woman waking everyone up on our floor my husband went to the front desk to ask for my father to be reimbursed for our room and they the gal and older gentleman continue to have a conversation and then proceed to tell us the manager isn't available on the weekends and didn't feel safe here at all ...
