  A lovely stay

  We have just enjoyed a lovely family stay at the Corner Hotel. The staff could not do more to welcome us and keep us safe. We were a little apprehensive booking a hotel during the current pandemic but thanks to another review on trip advisor we decided to book and so glad we did. The measures taken to ensure customer & staff safety was excellent. Including sanitising wipes & masks provided for guests in the rooms. Hand sanitisers positioned throughout the hotel, bar & restaurant. Cutlery provided in sealed bags. Constant cleaning by staff. The hotel is lovely, the beds extremely comfortable and we were fortunate to be staying in the very large family room. The food was delicious, breakfast huge and hearty. Dinner was very tasty with a nice variety of meals. Our children & dog was made very welcome. Nothing was a hassle to the staff who all looked after us well. As my 5 year old daughter said at check out see you soon ! Oh and we thoroughly enjoyed Carnoustie, the weather was glorious allowing happy days spent at the beach and playpark. Thanks again.

  Weekend break

  Thank you to Carol and her staff for a lovely stay at the Corner Hotel,couldn't have done more for us. The accommodation was spotless and room was well appointed with a good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. We were booked in on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal and was excellent value for money... The food was so good we also opted to have our lunch here too. There were hand sanitising stations throughout the hotel and they have gone to great lengths to keep patrons and staff safe according to the current guidelines. Highly recommend the Corner Hotel and will definitely make a return visit.

  Lovely stay with friends

  Just home from a lovely stay with husband & friends. We stayed in Room 2 which also had a lounge area, plenty room for socialising with our friends as we also celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary this year. Didnt get abroad this year so this was nice. The food here is amazing & large portions & the staff are very friendly, couldnt do enough for you. We will definitely return to this hotel.

  Great Base and Great Host

  We (couple plus Mum) stayed for 5 nights. This was a great base and our wonderful host made several excellent recommendations for day trips to include seeing seals in Montrose, walking round Glen Cova, visiting St Andrews and the pretty fishing villages in the East Neuk. Dundee and the new V&A are just a few miles away. We ate breakfast and dinner in every evening - huge portions of deliciously cooked food (half portions are still substantial enough if you have enjoyed some of the local baking during the day). Super friendly staff, and very mindful of the current restrictions helped to give us a very comfortable and safe stay.

  Excellent dinner, felt very Covid safe

  Booked a family meal based on locals recommendation and werent disappointed. Delicious food made to order, very efficient and friendly staff. Excellent Covid safe procedures. Would recommend for relaxed meal
