  Decent Hotel with Cold Staffs

  Hotel was decent. Place was clean and room was surprisingly very spacious especially the bathroom. However the staff wasn't too warm. Haven't seen any staff smiling during my 2 nights stay there especially those at the breakfast place. Location was abit far from town.

  Good hotel to stay

  We stay there for one night, Hotel is build in new part which is actually in building process. within few years it should be modern part of Nantong. What to say more? Staff was polite as always in China, rooms was spacious with all needed amenities and with new view. it is definitely good for short staying .

  Can be better

  Although the room was spacious but was not as clean as I had hoped. There were cob web on the ceiling and the room smelt of cigarettes (although there are no smoking signs in the room). Location is good as there are many restaurants and a supermarket just across the road. Wifi keeps shutting off. Need to restart phone to restart the connection again.

  Average

  An average hotel. Some of the rooms were noisy due to a KTV bar that went on into the night. The hotel itself is reasonably clean and tidy with good towels and linen. Another hotel which allows smoking everywhere so the constant smell of smoke. Breakfast was Ok and the staff helpful but they speak no English

  There are better options in the Nantong area

  The only reason I stayed here was to be close to the factory I was visiting. The veneer on the furniture was cracked / missing and the wifi was not strong enough to allow me to connect to my work network. The bathroom contained a tray of items for sale including condoms, men's & women's underwear, socks, and toiletry supplies. Classy. There was a card game going on in one of the rooms close to the elevator. Door was open and the players were smoking and having a grand time in there. Breakfast was tolerable. Checkout did not go well - the clerk spoke no English and didn't understand that I needed a copy of my itemized bill to show my boss that I didn't buy any condoms, socks or beers from the minibar. If I return to the Tongzhou area, I will stay closer to downtown Nantong and live with the 30-minute drive to the factory.
