  The entire experience of my stay at the Country Inn & Suites was extremely distasteful.

  I researched for a hotel to check in December 29, 2019 and check out January 1, 2020. I was looking for an accessible room with a walk-in shower along with shower grab bars. On December 28, I did find a room at the Country Inn & Suites [via google]. I then went to the hotels website to further check the details. I then called the hotel and talked with Jessica. She confirmed that the hotel had the room I was looking for. Furthermore, she advised me to book the room on the hotels website and then call her to make sure the accessible room I wanted would be booked. I did do as she advised. Upon arriving at the hotel [December 29], I learned that the room which Jessica reserved for me was not available. I believe the name of the desk clerk who I talked with is Kiara. She did try to find a similar room at another hotel. I did end up staying but in a room with a bathtub [with grab bars]. Due to my medical condition, I was not able to step over the bathtub and into the tub to use the shower. On December 30, I left my room around noon. I informed the desk clerk that my room needed to be made up [I believe the clerks name is Tasha]. She asked me if I was returning or departing; she was told returning. I returned around 6 p.m. and found that the room was not made up. The desk clerk on duty was Jessica. She told me that the cleaning crew went home. She then asked me if I wanted the room made up or if I wanted to do it [I assumed her questions were rhetorical]. She made the room up. On December 31, around 11:30 a.m., I had a call from the front office, I was told by Mecca that the cleaning team saw the Do Not Disturb sign on my door and thus would not clean my room since the cleaners would be leaving. I was told the cleaning could be done right away but I told Mecca that was not possible. I indicated that my expectations were that the room would be cleaned. Upon leaving, Mecca again was given the expectation that the room would be cleaned and her response was we will try to get it cleaned. The entire experience of my stay at the Country Inn & Suites was extremely distasteful.

  A great place to stay

  the bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. The only thing I would have changed is to turn the couch around so you could sit on it so you could watch the television better. We had a great time staying there.

  Great service

  Shay is the BEST! She took care of us our entire stay & made us feel like were home! When we had questions & needed directions she helped us! Whenever were in the area again we will definitely be back! Thank you!

  Room was clean, plenty of towels for guest, and bed was comfortable. Great price for hotel out East and location close for food. Only problem, there was no hot water in the room despite maintainance coming to look at the water.

  Charged TWICE

  Do not go to this hotel, I am not the only one in the re-views that has been charged twice. I was charged twice and still have not gotten the money back and it has been two weeks. Even though at the front desk they said it would be back on my card the next day around 11. They are liars and they lied to me and cheated me out of my money. I ended up spending $153 for that cheap ass a hotel
