  Traveling from Maine to Florida

  I travel back and forth from Florida to Maine, and after driving all day, it would be nice to check into a hotel and just relax, with no worries. I try different routes, and hotels in hopes of creating the most comfortable travel experience possible.

  Friendly staff and immaculate

  We have family in the area and always stayed at the Camp Hill Radisson, but we just couldnt with that place any more. If youre thinking about it, just dont. The Country Inn & Suites on a Gettysburg Pike was clean, fresh, and comfortable. Shout out to the front desk people who were super accommodating and professional. We will now be staying here on our return visits to Camp Hill. Great job everyone! By the way they are also pet friendly.

  Value for money

  Comfortable and clean room, and short drive from good restaurants. It is about 25 min from the main Harrisburg town. The room is basic and not very big, but the great value made up for it. I suppose if they can offer more toiletries to a larger family, that would have been good, esp for guest like me who stayed more than 1 night.

  OK for a Stopover

  Stayed one night on our way out of town. We were headed south on Route 15 and getting to the hotel was a bit round about. Although the map shows it right next to route 15, the GPS had us get off an exit that was not near 15. My first view of the hotel was of a person coming out without wearing a mask. After that, everyone we saw was wearing one. Our room was on the first floor so it was nice not to have to worry about elevator or stairs. It was a one bedroom and was spacious, with a refrigerator and microwave. There was some road noise due to our window facing the highway. The unit appeared mostly clean, but there were some crumbs on the nightstand in the bedroom that we could not ignore. Bedding for the pull out was not in the room so we had to obtain that. The beds were different in that they made a springy sound when you moved, but were fine for sleeping. Bathroom needed some TLC with some cleaning in the grooves. Indoor pool was open, but with COVID at all time highs, we werent even tempted to swim. The breakfast consisted of food items on trays on a table and each person was to choose one from each tray. There was a decent variety considering there wasnt anything hot. You could put hot water into the dry cup of oatmeal. Otherwise, it was juice cups, granola bars, yogurt, muffins, orange, apple, banana type offerings. Lots of hand sanitizer packets available.

  Great stay - 5 Nights in 2-bed Queen Suite

  Liked: + Friendly staff + Very clean room (no carpet!) + Budget-friendly priced + Accomomodating front desk (early check-in and late check-out) + Masks were compulsory and liquid sanitizer kept in front of entrance to encourage use Could improve on: - Cleaning was not on schedule; had to request front desk after every 2 days - Phone in the room wasn't working so had to go down to front desk everytime I had a question or concern. - Grab & Go Breakfast hours were quite early (6am to 8am) Pro tip: Requested for a front-facing room to avoid any noise from the highway behind the hotel.
