  Bistro Closed due to Low Occupancy!?!?!

  Road trip. Looked up hotels on route. Chose this property for dinner and drinks at the Bistro. On arrival, we noticed the lights were off in Bistro. We were told that Marriott Corp dictated that on low occupancy nights they must close the Bistro. REALLY!!!! I'd already paid, driven here, it was late, and I had to go in search of dinner. This is NOT appropriate for a large chain. If you offer a service, and don't include disclaimers for lame management practices, you MUST provide the amenities advertised, even if some days are losers. Others are winners! That's the way business works. You deliver on your promises come hell or high water, and work to manage the cycles. This is the first time I've encountered something like this w/ Marriott. I'm a long-time Marriott reward member, and they have been my go-to for business and personal travel. Not anymore! I need to know my vendor is accountable. This was totally chicken-s--t management. Hello, Hyatt! My new best friend!

  Nice location

  Hotel rooms were nice . Pool was dirty . Staff was friendly . Good on site was not very good and very over priced . Location to the interstate was really convenient . Beds were very very comfy . Tv screen was dim

  Bistro Closed...

  Stayed there for a wedding. Chose Marriott for its proximity to the venue and because it had the Bistro. Stayed Saturday to Tuesday. Unfortunately the Bistro was closed most of my stay...they said the Chef was sick. Gave a lame excuse. I chose Marriott because I wanted quality and service. I was sorely disappointed.

  Incredibly personal and welcoming

  My daughter and I arrived at Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Northwest unexpectedly after fighting 4-1/2 hours of white-knuckle driving in a snowstorm. Our decision to pull over for the night was validated as soon as we walked in the door and met friendly Sally at the desk. Sally could tell we were tired, hungry and shaken from the scary driving, so she got us checked in as quickly as possible, and invited us back downstairs to the Bistro for wine on the house. She came to chat with us at our table as her counterpart fixed us a delicious dinner...which spoke of the pride she has for this gem of a Marriott. We will look forward to coming back.

  BIG 10 GAME

  Stayed here so we could go to the BIG 10 Championship game and this place is very nice the staff is great and it's worth going back to stay at again next year. There is a patio area with a gas fire pit and able to chill and stay warm at the same time.
