  Un desperdicio, debido a que el lugar en la campiña de Milton Kaynes es formidable, sin embargo sus habitaciones no representan un 4 estrellas, mal aseadas, nunca en 7 noches cambiaron las sabanas ??, lo rescatable la amabilidad de su personal, tienen tvs antiquisimos y con solo 5 canales, definitivamente se quedaron en el pasado.

  Lugar increible en la campiña. Las instalaciones podrian mejorarse.

  Fuimos para una boda. El lugar es maravilloso para un evento de este tipo. Sin embargo, las comodidades, en cuanto a tamaño de las habitaciones y variedad en el desayuno, podrian mejorarse para aprovechar mejor los encantos de la casona antigua y el hermoso entorno natural.

  Pretty average

  Me and my partner got a groupon deal to stay here with dinner and breakfast included. Really good value for money! We chose the superior double room the room was tiny but the view was pretty and the bed was comfortable. We took a walk in the gardens and the scenery was lovely. The dinner we had was nice and the breakfast was too our only issue was the waiting time for breakfast we waited about 35 mins to even be served. Overall a nice hotel, a little dated though it could do with a refurb

  Very mixed experience, felt the importance to review.

  In September 2020, when the hospitality sector opened again, we decided to take an one night break with our family in England. We booked two double rooms in the Horwood House Hotel in Milton Keynes, one for our son and 8 years old grandson and the other one is for my husband and myself. As soon as we arrived, they informed us that according to the current Govt rules, they have to close everything (restaurant and bar) by 10pm. We were of course aware of that. Unfortunately, we could not book our dinner at the restaurant, as the only available time was 18.30 and after a late lunch, we wanted to wait a bit longer. They said that the Bar would serve food until nearer to 10pm, but either we have to finish eating by 10pm or have to take a room service, as nothing would be allowed to open after 10pm. Quite understandable. We arrived at the bar around 8.50/8.55 and tried to order. But to our surprise we were told by the bar manager (?), that it is too late to order food. The kitchen is already closed and no food would be available any more at all on that night. We were gob-smacked. It was four of us including a very hungry 8 year old little boy. So we asked if he can arrange at least two slices of bread and some butter for our grandchild and the rest of us will manage one night without food, but he said that it would not be possible. We then asked if there would be any restaurant or take away or Food delivery nearby, where we can go and get something. It was already nearly 9pm, raining and dark outside and unknown inside roads. He said there is only one McDonalds 15 minutes drive away. Thats all. We left the bar thinking that we would get a taxi to get some take away from that McDonalds nearby, when we suddenly met with the Hotels restaurant manager on our way back. She was very surprised to hear our story, looked at her watch and said that she can easily arrange to get us some food from the bar and if we prefer, she can have it delivered to our room without any extra cost. It was a very contradicting information by two staff from the same Hotel. We placed our orders and within a short time everything was delivered to room with no problem at all. The lady from the restaurant was extremely pleasant, reassuring and efficient, but we were extremely disappointed with the attitude of the gentleman in the bar, who clearly had no intention to help, for whatever reason that was.

  Disgusting! Do not stay at this hotel!

  I dont know even where to start. Hotel is absolutely disgusting and God know how they have 4*. I upgraded to their most beautiful room/ suite, £114 per night and is total waste of money. Rooms are dirty, smell of cigarettes (had to request air freshener as could not cope). Carpets, sofas all stained ... with dont know what. Bed smelt.... absolutely disgusting state! I raised that with duty manager on a day, she said that complaints being made to management but nothing changes. PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THAT PLACE. And dont even think to have your wedding there. This place do not deserve even 1*!!!!
