  Mom & Kids Staycation

  I stayed at the Delta by Marriott Grand Rapids Airport with a group of girlfriends and our children. In total there were five moms and nine kids aging 1-12 years old. Everyone had a great time and it was so convenient to have food on site. A few of the rooms were recently updated (mine was not) and I could tell once all rooms are complete, it will be an exceptional hotel.

  Kids overnight

  Nice hotel, friendly staff, and convenient location. Stayed overnight with young children and had a great experience. Dinner and Breakfast was good. The pool area was large and included a kiddie pool.

  Overnight with Friends - Great Time!

  I stayed with my two young children and 4 other families of moms and kids ages 13-1.5. The kids had a blast in the pool, loved the cheese pizza for dinner, and the moms were able to sit on the steps of the (very) shallow area of the pool and watch the kids splash and play while we caught up with each other. The room was clean and the decor was modern and attractive. The kids were exhausted at the end of the day and couldn't wait to go back for more. We'll definitely be back!

  Quick Staycation

  Room appeared to be recently updated and was very clean. The hotel property was easy to navigate, and the pool was family friendly with a waterslide. Check in and out was very easy and the staff was friendly.

  Great

  Loved the room. Was a nice quiet environment. Rooms look beautiful better than we had expected. Great location close to food and entertainment. If we are ever in the area we will definitely stay here again.

  Mucho ojo¡¡¡¡¡ No reserven en este hotel, hacen cargo indebidos a las tarjetas de crédito de los clientes, no respetan las reservas con pago anticipado, nos discriminan x ser latinos, habitaciones sucias , muy mala actitud de recepcionistas, no hay quien te apoye en caso requerirlo, NADA RECOMENDABLE¡¡

  One of the worst.

  One of the worst hotels that Ive ever been toonot clean, unhelpful/unfriendly staff, broken doors, room smelled like cigarette smokethere was still plastic shower caps wrapped around the smoke detector from whomever was doing it lastalso if your booking and looking forward to the pool area you should know the slide and hot tub that are advertised by the hotelwere PERMANENTLY SHUT DOWN by the city. This place is a joke. Dont get ripped offstay somewhere else.

  Overall decent

  Carpet in room was dirty, pool was closed, slide and hottub were both closed. Staff was very friendly. Late hours were not as quiet as they could have been. No breakfast but they did have popcorn! Loved having the 12pm checkout vs others having earlier times

  Good luck

  At first we thought the experience was well. Clean room good stay. But since checkout front desk charged me way more then my Expedia quote and Everytime I call they argue and don't listen to what I'm saying like it's a scripted answer and I have no clue how a bank works. it's been 4 days and they keep saying it's pending grrrr. Not a good experience.

  Not bad, not great.

  This place was probably amazing in the 1980's. Our recent stay was our first and last at this hotel. The time it took to check in was longer than usual, and although staff was apologetic, thier front desk wasn't very organized. Upon checking in we were told the resturaunt was closed due to staffing, the bar was closed due to staffing and the water slide in the pool area was permanatly out of order. Our room was nothing to write home about, bathroom stunk of mold, but this was an older "renovated" hotel. When my wife and I walked into the pool area to relax, we both said the same thing....."this reminds me of vacations as a kid", and we are both in our 40's. Its a great budget hotel for families with kids that want to swim or hot tub, but I'd suggest you get a nicer hotel if you're trying to have a couples weekend.
