  What about the curtains?

  A one night stay in this hotel cost's 150,. This wasn't worth the money! Biggest problem are the curtains, they can't be closed, at 06.00 AM light is coming into the room. We complained about this but the only thing we heared it was a problem with the construction, curtains were to heavy to be carried by the paper walls and ceiling..... No excuses ore proposal to compensate this inconvenience. People love their guest here....... look at the doorstop! When you step out of the showercabin is possible to step on it, how dangerous... But this is a Spa ressort so they can massage if you will trip over it. There were a lot of older people in this hotel, wich maybe declares the hard beds. Iff you like to kill somebody... youse these pillows..... Wasn't anything good? The room was very spacious and clean. breakfast was really unsurpassed

  Tidy, comfortable, but needs a soul

  This is an honest hotel; the beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and tidy, the welcome for dogs is touching. Breakfast is perfectly good. There is a massage/ wellness service which is very good. And yet the 'romantic' element isn't there. The bar and lounge are depressing - brightening up the furniture to get rid of the dark brown armchairs would help. The decision to team up with a restaurant in the shopping centre across the road will have been taken for a reason, but it is not a particularly interesting prospect to eat there if you want anything better than straightforward tourist fare. There are at least a couple of restaurants in Greetsiel, by the harbour, which are better: Fest Land ( which is the best in the village), and Hohes Haus. The hotel is well-situated, as the walk to the harbour is no more than 5 minutes, so it is a good place to stay, but it would be more attractive if it were more inviting inside.
