  Never to back again

  Noizy location, no lift and the single rooms are very small. The bad are so small and no place at all to move around the room. No chance for a comfortable bathroom, shampoo and other bath kits you must have them by your own. Brakefast very boring, they were some flys inside the cheese container. For that price, never to be back again.

  Just about service - DIDNT STAY AT HOTEL!

  I just wanted to start by saying that I didn't stay at this hotel. My boyfriend and I were staying at an apartment across the street. On our first night, we couldn't contact our host and had no idea where we were. The staff at Die Perle, especially the owner, was extremely nice and helpful to us! We found our place, even though he invited us to stay. The next day we didn't have enough money for the bus to Lucerne. So we went back to ask if there was an ATM nearby. There was one in 4 km, and we were going to walk. But again, the owner helped us get enough money to get catch the bus. He didn't have to do that, but could see that 2 sad backpackers needed a little help! The staff here is so warm and welcoming, I wish we could've stayed at the hotel. I cannot comment on anything other than the staff, but they were excellent!!!

  Never again

  Small hotel without elevator, so do not take with you heavy baggage. Individual room is incredible small, playmobil is much bigger than the room. The double room has a bit more space than individual. Bathroom..... I have never seen something similar! Plastic bathroom half square meter just in the middle of the room. Even worse is the noise during the whole night, so quite hard to sleep.

  Good hotel , Perle, Switzerland

  A good hotel , in Perle, Switzerland. Room fine nothing special, basic with a shower /sink cubicle. Resturant good including breakfast. Car parking out front fine. German speaking part of Switzerland with some staff adequate English others not, manager very helpful and polite.

  Price paid is out of any proportion with what you get

  If it was not for the price the hotel charges, the place would fundamentally be OKish: the service was friendly, the room has a roof, a door that you can close and a bathroom, you can park outside without too many problems and we got coffee and something to eat for breakfast. Making a quick cross-comparison, the reasonable price for what we got would have been CHF 80,- to 90,- for one night in a double room, not the CHF 160,- that we did actually pay. Die Perle still has a lot to do to deserve the price it charges. I may not come back to check it out, but the good news for die Perle is that all of what it would need to do to justify its high price is eminently feasible: the Perle team just needs to do it!
