  Love this place and absolutely love Owen!!!

  We visited the Duke's Head Wallington today for dinner and drinks with friends and family. At first our table was not suitable for a high chair as the table was very high. Without any hesitation we were moved to a Garden Hut which was fabulous and cosy! We were greeted by Owen who may I say was absolutely phenomenal. He was so friendly and attentive and his recommendations were spot on. I would definitely recommend this place, the food was very tasty and the service was second to none. Thank you Owen for making our evening so pleasant!!! We will hopefully be back again soon!!!

  Rude Staff

  Dont order roast beef its like chewing wriggleys chewing gum. But more than anything was the disgusting way in which we were spoken to. We booked for 2hrs on the website then some lady who I would assume is a manager of some description came up and told us to pay now as we had been there 90mins and she had to giggle things around as we hadnt left. I explained we booked 2hrs but she said we were wrong and had to leave now. Never met anyone so rude in my life. Wont ever be going back there again. Its just an overpriced roast with bad service!!"

  Brilliant stay

  I just wanted to say I had an amazing stay,food on point,place was really clean,big big thank you to Connell who made sure I never wanted for anything, this young man went over and beyond his duty,also I have to thank Owen for being my knight in shining armour and to Tom for checking us in.i really do recommend this hotel with their lovely helpful and friendly staff Thank you for making this truly brilliant experience.

  Raw Burgers x 2 and still no refund

  Went out for first time since lockdown We ordered food two burgers @£15 each is steep but expecting a lot I was disappointed my food and my friends burger was raw! There was no hesitation from the waiting staff and they said a fresh one would be cooked . When it arrived it was even more raw. I was not happy not my friend Surely they can get a burger right ! We were not offered any goodwill gestures just the offer of a refund. Still not received the refund Prosecco is £32 per bottle at these prices I expect better service from the kitchen Poor show Especially at a time when hospitality has been hit so hard. I want to support my local pubs and restaurants but not sure I will be in a hurry to return!

  Perfect cosy place to stay

  One of the best places I have stayed in The UK. Very friendly staff, lovely food, traditional cosy pub feel, clean, cosy hotel rooms with modern bathrooms and heated towel rack. It was hard to check out! A really well managed hotel and pub :)
