  First we had a problem with our reservation using AGODA. I reserved a room with two double beds and the clerk said my room was one king. I had the most difficult time trying to change it because the clerk said I had to go through AGODA and that she couldn't do anything on her end about a refund. The room was GROSS. We were in the room maybe three minutes. Long enough to see the sheets had crusty spots and holes. The blanket had holes as well. There was a dehumidifier under the sink. The beds sheets were stained and no way was I going to lay on them. My husband went to the desk and told the girl we were not staying. She was pleasant and not rude but could not help us with a refund. She also said we were going to have to pay $15.00 more to get a double bed room. NEVER stay HERE. It needs to be demolished.

  Ok for price needs some updating

  we stayed here last 2 nights good rooms for price room was ok need to be updated older tv in room not a flat screen like most bath room could use some work exhaust fan in bathroom need to be cleaned and sink in bath room had cracks and scratches in that need to be replace we were and the far end of building from office and wi-fi was very weak.But rest of room was fine quite at night and good price

  Clean but Old

  We stayed here just one night for an event, and it was fine for that. Very Old and outdated, but was clean. Its a discount motel and you get what you pay for. In desperate need of updating. I wanted to get a soda , but the vending machine was out of order, the desk clerk told me I could walk across 4 lanes of traffic to the rite aid for a drink. This is located near alot of fast food restaurants.

  Nasty Hotel

  Do your self a favor, when you see "East Carolina Inn" keep on moving. I stayed for 2 days and the hotel was Nasty, there was old dried up urine around the toilet when we first got in the room, floors were not vacuumed, mirrors were smeared, the blankets on both beds were stained and one was torn, the cover to the smoke detector was missing with wires hanging, the beds did not sleep good at all because they were so worn and need to be replace. it was just an horrible experience. we took pictures and complained to the manager and he refunded me and my cousin a whopping $22 off of our $137 bill.

  Warning - Nasty

  My family and I stayed in two rooms of this hotel while moving our sons into ECU. When we arrived, I immediately checked for availability in other hotels. The only availability was in neighboring cities. This hotel was truly the nastiest hotel I've ever seen. I checked five other rooms to see if it was better. Same. The bottom mattresses on all of the beds are covered with an ivory colored cloth cover. I don't think they've ever been cleaned. There was throw-up splatter on one, mildew, drink spills, and Lord knows what else. If you're sitting on the bed, you're touching it. Your covers that go over your body are rubbing against it on the side of the bed. Disgusting!!! The carpet was very, very dirty and stained throughout. Our rooms had not even been vacuumed. The bathrooms had hair on the floor and had not been mopped in ages. There was mildew on the curtains above the AC. Showers were mildewed. Surfaces were dusty. The hotel is old, but old hotels can still be clean. The manager was completely unconcerned. When I couldn't find anywhere else to stay, they told me they would change the mattress covers. They didn't. Really, really bad experience. It was so bad, getting my money back wouldn't have even made it better. I didn't even ask.
