  Best Guest House in Paignton

  Just back from a 10 nights stay at this amazing guesthouse. We were in room 1 on the first floor which has a view of the lovely garden. The room has a super king sized bed, tea/coffee making facilities, small fridge, sofa, tv/dvd player, and use of an iron on request. As well as offering an amazing choice of breakfast they also offer an evening meal (which you do not have to order in advance) giving their guests flexability. There is also a small bar with a range of drinks available. It is in a quiet residential street but perfectly positioned for access to the beach,railway/bus station and shops. Bill and Karen are brilliant hosts offering help and information if needed, and quite frankly can't do enough for you which makes for a perfect stay. We would highly recommend this guest house without hesitation. Thank you Bill and Karen for helping to make our holiday great.

  Ideal location

  Had a lovely warm welcome from Karen and Bill,shown through to the lounge and had tea/coffee biscuits before being shown to our room. The room itself was spotless and clean. Ideal location on a quiet street within 5/10 minute walk to shops,bars,bus and train station etc. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of it. We only had 2 evening meals but for the price you pay they seemed good value. The only downfall for us was the noise coming from the room next door, arguing 2 nights constant shouting till gone 2.am. but that was not the owners fault but the inconsiderate people who was staying in that room that had no thought for anyone else who was staying in the surrounding rooms, they was just selfish. Bill and Karen are a lovely couple. Would highly recommend and definitely we would stay again.. Anna and Rob.

  Best place to stay

  We have stayed last year, so it was an easy choice this year with all that is going on, cannot fault the place. Bill and Karen are brilliant host`s and nothing is any trouble. Great food and spotless rooms. Ten out of ten, cup of tea and coffee when you arrive and a chat. This is our go to place when we go to Paignton.

  Excellent Guesthouse, Highly Recommended.

  Very welcoming, well placed for the seafront, and lovely food. Thanks to Karen and Bill (and Mary) for a very pleasant stay. The lamb shank was the best I have tasted for a long while, and the breakfast will set you up for the day! There's a licenced bar; perfect for relaxing after a day's sightseeing, and very comfortable rooms. Very sensible social distancing rules. Highly recommended.

  "Best Guest House in Paignton"

  What a great place to stay Our stay was short, three days only, but in that time it felt we were not in a Guest House but invited into Karen and Bills home. Everything about the stay was perfect, very clean and tidy, made extremely welcome. The food is excellent and when you ordered they always went the extra mile by asking what you wanted so they could provide the perfect meal. If I am in this area again we will definitely book with Karen and Bill. Also if any of my family and friends ever head to Devon I know where we would recommend. All credit to Karen and Bill. Also we would like to say thank you to Mary for making a stay perfect. The Beach, Harbour and the shops are nearby within walking distance. All the best and hopefully stay with you again soon Dan & Kristina.
