  Muy bien

  Un hotel situado muy céntrico, pequeño y acogedor, habitaciones espaciosas, un desayuno muy completo y un personal muy servicial que nos ayudó en nuestros imprevistos de viaje, a gestionar cosas...Muy satisfechas. Lo único malo, algo ruidoso de noche.

  Very good!

  Nice clean room and centrally located. Reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff - our plane arrived very late in Catania and the Elios Rooms guys did their best for us. Good breakfasts in a light modern dining area too. Definitely five stars!

  The critical factor was not the brown bathroom nor the tan toilet paper, though the electrical socket hanging out of the wall over the sink could have doomed someone. Nor was the awful truth about this place failing to get the room we'd been promised and paid extra money for. Though that was hugely disappointing the insurmountable problem was the noise within the hotel. After 1 night we moved due to the cacophony indoors that made the busy street outside seem as calm as a picnic. The great problem with Elios Rooms, a 1st floor apartment above a crossroads thoroughfare, is that the rooms are not off a quiet corridor, they are located directly off the kitchen area, directly off the reception room, and off communal areas which means that unless you are stone deaf you'll need some seriously good ear plugs to survive being awoken early in the morning as chairs are scraped over floors, as sleepy chatter chunters into cappuccini made frothy below a coffee steamer that hisses consciousness into even the deepest sleepers. As phones ring and doors slam all around your room, even with wax ear plugs pushed deeply, you will be wakened, as we were, time after time, by cups and saucers, plates, chatter, ring ring, and doors, if not the dog. One night was enough! We had to move. Getting a forced smile apology for the rooms mix-up and not getting the promised quiet room which we paid extra for added to the bad feeling which rose biliously from the depths. Being told we were in the wrong and we had never been given an agreement for a quiet room added to the anxiety. Thus riled we felt obliged to produce the Email sent to us from the owner which proved we had, in fact, been promised said quiet room. That wasted time and caused us stress. Upon showing the manageress the Email the resident dog went berserk and barked itself into a lather, so we decided to just slip away with a cancellation (1 night penalty) and then we were able to enjoy 5 great nights just around the corner at a fine hotel - well worth the extra little bit.

  Centrally located. A short distance to the Old Town's attractions and the train station. Rooms are clean and nice, good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and anyway price-friendly.

  Second time we stay at Elios Rooms. As before, the room was very clean, and has all the necessary facilities. Management is very welcoming and most helpful, particularly when we adked for travelling information. They called and check to give us the details we required. We highly recommend it.
