  Ruined our Christmas with kids and grandkids!

  We booked this hotel because of the rating needing a clean,safe and relaxing place, of which we had none! Vagrants hanging outside and in lobby, used hypodermic needle in room, pool temp at 70 degrees, lack of security locks taped opened on outside doors, doors propped open for absolutely no sense of safety, housekeeping lacking, clean towels were a rare commodity,pool chemicals in 30 gallon containers in pool area,dirty bathroom, noisy plumbing outside of the building is filthy parking lot littered with trash etc. The list can go on! Not a place to try to enjoy family time,

  My stay

  This hotel was really nice. The restaurant had excellent pizza and drinks and the service was amazing! I also did like how my room looks the old look is what I liked the most and front desk was really nice job Sandra and Mari.

  No attention to detail

  The property is all right but it is just clear in so many ways that the management does not care about things: *The public areas of this hotel, including the pool, are *freezing*, probalby in the mid 50s. There is a huge glass wall in the lobby area and it is winter so I expect they are saving on the heating bill, but this is just unpleasant. *I stayed 4 nights and probably 1/3 of the towels and washcloths had stains or were very off white. Figure out how to launder and replace things on a regular basis. This is just disgusting. *Housekeeping is lazy. They don't restock the coffee cups by the Keurig. They don't clean the toilet with a brush when it clearly needs it. *Breakfast potatoes were raw!

  A mice gem

  Very nice rooms. Interesting check-in desk. The hotel had a decent breakfast and friendly staff. The lobby area was comfortable and clean. The rooms were very comfortable. The rates are very cheap. There is no restaurant on site. There is the Kaposia Club opens at 11-2:00 and North Pole was great got breakfast to get food. The hotel is right off the freeway exit.

  Stay at EnVision Hotel St Paul South

  We booked this hotel due to the fact my daughter was gonna get admitted to Gillette Childrens in the early am hours and this hotel is pretty close proximity to the hospital is about 11 min away. We liked the decor of the hotel and all the historical aspects about the city of St Paul thru out it. It had alot of charm and character unlike alot of cookie cutter types of lodging and didn't feel so sterile was comfortable and enviting decor wise . It had super comfortable beds as well as pillows bedding was very nice. The downfalls were there was alot of outside noise and street noise in the location of it and there is no microwave in the actual room. There is a fridge and Keurig in the room but microwave is near the vending machines on the 3rd floor would be nice to have one in the room. And the Internet connection is very slow. Water was nice and hot and Tv was great. Was ample storage in the room as well as a comfortable chair for seating. Rooms were pretty spacious. The breakfast was really good for a continental breakfast had a nice selection of hot or cold items. Elevators were not working during our stay so had to use the stairs which was ok good excercise but not the most optimal with suitcases etc but that I am sure is out of their control hopeful they got fixed up promptly. For the pricepoint was nice lodging and we would stay again sometime, we didn't use the pool as we got into town later and went to bed somewhat early so cannot comment on that.
