  Nothing special, but good for what we needed

  We only passed through Bari briefly on our way to and from the Tremiti Islands, but both times stayed in a hotel. The Hotel Europa we chose for proximity to the station. It was 60-65 euros per night which seemed expensive but we were committed by the time we found out. The room was nothing special, pretty average as hotel rooms go. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was retro-tiled but clean and fairly new. The shower had good water pressure. All together an 8/10 for comfort, cleanliness, convenience. 1 out of 10 for character though. I can't comment on the food or staff really as I don't know.

  Not a lot to like about this hotel.

  I was there on a football trip back in March. The hotel was basic, to say the least but its proximaty to a train station made slepping an impossibility unless you were pished! Fortunately The second night I was, and slept till about 5.30Am! Not my greatest experience and I will never go back there.

  Awful! Never seen anything like this! DO NOT GO!!!

  Only good thing about this hotel is the location,very close to downtown Bari. As for the rest, it is dirty,stinky , its furniture is old and kinda creepy. Very noisy as the crossroads from the railway station are right next to it and make noise all night long. Worst of it all is the staff: an old man "serves" breakfast with a nauseated expression on his face,makes it look like it is costing him thousands of dollars to give you a croissant, sadly taken out of one of those cartons you buy at the supermarket!!!Nothing fresh!Very expensive for such a bad service.Wouldn't go there again unless I absolutely had to.NOT RECOMMENDED BY ALL MEANS!
