  Precioso

  Este hotel es una pequeña joya. Tremendamente acogedor, con amable personal y unas habitaciones muy bien decoradas, confortables y con unas preciosas vistas a las blue mountains. Como punto negativo decir que no tiene wifi gratuito, lo que es un fastidio y resulta incomprensible en un hotel hoy día y más de esa categoría y que el servicio de habitaciones incluye un cargo extra "porque sí". También decir que está bastante alejado de Leura, en el campo de golf y que llegar allí es como atravesar un laberinto.

  Great views, friendly staff

  We stayed here as part of our NSW honeymoon trip. Obviously, expecting it to live up to our idea of Sofitel standards, we were excited to arrive at the resort. Upon arrival, you get fantastic views of the blue mountains from the lobby. Its gives you a warm welcome and feeling like youve arrived in a cabin - but thats pretty much where it ends. The rooms are extremely dated, and the carpets are filthy. Black worms were found on our floors every day of our stay (we stayed for 3 nights) and our room was not made up once by house keeping unless you specifically request it. We did not dine at the resort due to terrible reviews on the food, but we were able to take a short drive to Leura village which in itself is gorgeous. Not much to do around the grounds if you dont have kids - except if you play golf of course. There is an indoor and outdoor pool but you need to book that in as they only provide you with one hour access. There is also a day spa but you need to book in advance. Even before you arrive at the resort it seems. I will take my hat off to the concierge, Michael, who went out of his way to provide us with incredible walking tracks and recommended we visit the megalong valley tea rooms. It was truly the highlight of our blue mountains trip!

  Needs a revamp

  We stayed here for a family members birthday. The rooms need a significant renovation - they are very tired and old, and needs some soundproofing. The food is average too. We went to the golf club for the first night then booked in at Jamisons on the second night and it was four times the price we paid for a similar standard of food. It was a pleasant stay in a beautiful location where we were able to explore the area, which was very relaxing. If the property was revamped and food improved we would be back.

  Pleasant stay.

  It was nice to get away and relax for a few days. Location was great. Food service was a bit average and menu was not very good with limited options. Old world charm. Decor was a bit outdated. Nice and peaceful.

  Great location, good staff

  We had a very enjoyable stay during which the COVID regulations were very well done. The location on the golf course near downtown Leura was excellent. Our room was quite spacious and had a nice view towards the mountains/Katoomba. The various restaurants provided food of a consistent good standard and the staff were very helpful. The reduced rating is due to the fact that the resort is starting to show its age and could do with a good spruce up.
