  Good hotel...great beds

  The hotel is nice. Located in a small town near a small lake, the hotel is modern inside. For the good things: rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The beds are amazingly confortable. All needed amenities in the room are available. The spa area is really enjoyable. Nice swimming pool with great lounge area. For the not so good things: check-in was long and the lady at the front desk was on the phone not really caring that I was waiting for checking-in. English is not greatly spoken by all personnal which can make communication complicated. But overall it's a great place to stat at. Prices are decent for the quality of the place. I would go back there

  Top Class Stay

  Lovely place, highly recommend there appeared to lot of tourists at hotel. I only stayed for 1 night. Buffet was very good & hot. Staff are very accommodating and would do anything for you. Room was very spacious & modern.

  what a wonderful place ... you do not expect in the Thuringian forest ... absolute quiet ... friendly service ... great hotel ... nice lounge ... ice-free service for the car .. very good free wifi. my room (110) .. was just great ... with a couch ... great mattress ... nice bathroom ... great swimming pool ... sauna and wellness area just as new and very nice ... The breakfast. .. very varied ... everything fresh .. many different things ... it was a great stay ... thank you very much ... I'll be back for sure ...

  Reasonable

  We booked half pension, comfort room. On arrival we received a room that didnt fit the description and pictures on the site, but fit the description of a junior comfort room. Despite a first denial of the downgrade in the end we got our booked (splendid and well equiped) comfort room. The hotel is a beautiful old one, but well modernized, with a good sauna, swimming pool, hardst ever used gym. Theres No airco, normally No problem, but in the freightfully hot July of 2018, it would have been welcome. Breakfast is overwhelming with a broad choice, although less choice for low-fatters. Dinner is optional, I suggest to book later on. There is plenty of choice in the buffet, vegetables are all over the place, very good. Everydays soup is most of the time not very inspired. The main course has always three choices. A white fish, pastadish, meat. And a lot of potatoes Made in various ways, but never frites. Everything that was italian inspired with tomatoes was ruïned by italian herbs, a misstaken supermarket concept, ASK Any Italian for am explanation. Desert was good, with choice of cheese, icecream, mousses, cakes, fruit. The staf was helpful and attentive. Cleaning was good. The surroundings are beautiful, of you can stand a sometimes painful downfall of wealth and upperclass toerism. Nature is overwhelming.

  Nice hotel, very friendly staff !

  Large room ( superior plus) with lots of storage ! Also good for a longer stay... Rooms facing the street are dark due to the mountain across the street. Traffic is average ( there is a school up the street), but nights are quiet.
