  buena ubicación. hotel limpio

  Esta muy bien. La ubicación a 1 cuadra del puente, 5 min caminado al centro y 10 a la esplanade. Sobre la calle palmer, con muchas opciones de comida. Esta limpio y muy bien equipado. Estacionamiento gratuito al aire libre y de pago techado. Recomendable.

  Grand hotel, gran elección!

  Paramos en Townsville en nuestro viaje por la Great Tropical Drive entre Cairns y Airlie Beach. Es una linda y pequeña cuidad portuaria. El hotel está en la calle Palmer, con varias opciones para salir a comer. La habitación era muy espaciosa, con cocina equipada, living y terraza. Todo estaba muy limpio. En el primer piso del hotel hay solárium y pileta, para aprovechar! El wifi de la habitación andaba bien. Lo sacamos a ultimo momento y con buena tarifa y fue una gran elección.

  Nuevo - Moderno - Bien Situado

  Hotel muy agradable, zona de piscina tb muy agradable. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes, pero acogedoras. El hotel está súper cerca de la parte de la playa que es preciosa. Calidad - Precio muy bueno.

  Great Hotel, excellent accomodation

  We have stayed here a number of occasions, and is our Hotel of choice in Townsville. Wonderfully helpful staff, the rooms are very comfortable, and conveniently located to the City including some great restaurants (try IMC Steak House), convenience store, bottle shops and micro brewery. Easy stroll to the stadium, and Strand. Highly recommend.

  Clean, good size for a family and the kitchenette is good

  We have stayed once before when moving hose and this time again due to same. Bad points first, bathroom tap fitting kept falling off and some of the TV remotes didn't work. Wasn't a big thing but maybe the bathrooms need some TLC, especially with the fittings and the sealing around the bath/shower as it leaks. We noticed the same problem on our last stay. Is there any reason why the TV's don't get all the channels? I found that weird but the remotes not working were a small irritation. As I said these weren't a big deal for us but mentioned for possible improvements. OK to the good points, staff very friendly and nothing was an issue. Location, I love Palmer st even though it is in a bit of the doldrums now just convenience items are hard to find without going over the bridge into town. Rooms spacious, all the amenities are generally good. Pool is good, kids loved it. Parking we had undercover and it was enough but I had peace of mind for our vehicles as it was under lock and key/CCTV coverage. WIFI the kids loved and kept them entertained when we were in the room as there is not much else to do there.

  Great Location and Staff, But Falls Short on Comfort and Convenience

  The hotel has a good location, very central, making it convenient for exploring Townsville. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and kind, which contributed positively to the overall experience. My room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a large rain shower, meeting expectations for a hotel of this category. However, there were a few issues during my stay. My room was not serviced, and the coffee and towels were not replenished. It turns out I booked an eco stay, which wasnt mentioned on the booking confirmation at all. It turns out it means no housekeeping. This was inconvenient as I had to go to reception for coffee and fresh towels. Additionally, the phone in my room was not working, so I had to make trips to the reception for any requests. The lighting in the room was terrible, with cold white lighting that felt uncomfortable and created zero atmosphere. The bathroom lighting wasnt a highlight either. Improved, cozier lighting would significantly enhance the room's ambiance and the comfort of the stay. I requested a high floor with a nice view when booking, and they put me on the 3rd floor out of 4, which was good. The room, being at the beginning of the hallway, offered a city view. The view was okay, with minimal construction noise from street maintenance and good sound insulation, as there was no noise from other rooms due to double doors and solid walls/doors. Overall, my stay was okay, with the best aspects being the excellent staff and the convenient location. However, the lack of housekeeping and the uninviting lighting make it unlikely that I would book this hotel again.

  Great pitstop hotel

  Only stayed one night, had a brilliant welcome. We were made VIPs of the day which gave us an indoor parking slot and room upgrade. The Reception staff were excellent with easy check-in/check-out. The hotel met our expectation for a pit-stop during our Queensland roadtrip. Had a lovely breakfast C Bar on the Strand with beach views.
