  Vacaciones horrorosas

  Hemos estado una semana en este hotel las vacaciones de todo un año esperadas con gran ilusión ,pero que horror de vacaciones No sé ni por dónde empezar ,pero bueno voy a empezar por las instalaciones para nada un 5 estrellas yo le quitaba 3 y lo dejaba en una pensión de 2* todo muy antiguo todoooo ,paso a la atencion mala malísima no se preocupan para nada que tu estancia que sea agradable ,no se para que Euro playas vende paquetes de viajes en Corfu siendo una isla que nadie habla español pero que nadie y no es que sea hobligacion para que los españoles vayan de vacaciones que tengan que hablar en su lengua pero aunque sea 1 persona tendría que hablarlo pero ni en recepción algo curioso que en un hotel 5* nadielo hablé ,si no hablas inglés estás muerto,la comida de pena todo las bebidas solo el agua y el café era un poco decente es lo que yo bebí toda la semana,también he de decir que soy un poco especial para las bebidas ,pero aún así no había nada decente ,así que si tenéis pensado ir a este hotel pensarlo bien porque pagáis como un 5* pero lo que vais a encontrar como mucho es un 2* y cuidado sobre todo con las excursiones un timo total ,mejor cogerlas fuera que serán a mitad de precio y mejor también he de decir que hay 3 piscinas que están bien ,pero ojo con el parque acuático lo cierran Domingo y Miércoles cosa que no entiendo siendo plena temporada pueden hacer esto y los demás días de 10 a 16 horas los horarios eso sí lo llevan a raja tabla como te pases 5 minutos te quedas sin comer sin desayunar y sin cenar,así que cuidado con vuestras vacaciones no recomiendo para nada ir a este hotel y por última la amabilidad que hay en España en general alli es inexistente. Soy de las personas que no soy de poner críticas ni buenas ni malas,pero esto tenía que ponerlo .

  Good hotel worth a money we paid

  Lovely hotel. Lots of swimming pools around with planty space to swim. Good location its preety at north , close by car to the best places to see in Corfu. Food was delicious. Staff very friendly. Rooms were big and clean but the bathroom needs a bit updating. I had a huge trouble to bath my baby there as dark bathroom with a small bath and shower screen didn't do the job. The beach is fantastic there. Gorgeous sun set. I would come back!!!

  well placed hotel in short distance to town's shops and restaurant.Hotel reception is very helpful with information about resort. Spacious room cleaned daily with comfortable bed. Beach is ok, with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent.

  I highly recommend this hotel. The biggest pools Ive ever seen. Especially aqua park. Always you can find free sunbeds. Any time a day. Always lots of them free. We had a room in Niki, this is only one minus because room was a bit old And Windows were shut so a bit stinks. Definitely need renovation. But cleanless is excellent. They always change towels. I spend there 9 days from 02.09-11.09 2019. Food is excellent as well , a bit similar but so taste. Loads of salads. Plenty fruits so fresh. Even greece Havla on breakfast. Plenty everything. If something is empty they in seconds replace And bring another plate full of fresh food. Ice cream all day. Great Weather. 32 during The day but a bit Cloudy was but nights are The best 25 so cool. Hotel full of polish tourists And some russian a bit chinese And few english. Its one of my faviurite places. 5 minutes to walk to supermarket And Town centre. Is on The Corner full of nice Restaurants And souvenirs. We rented a car And paid 38 euro per day Fiat panda brand new. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely come back in future.

  Gelina Village Hotel and Aqua Park - Never again- Put me off Corfu

  So I have taken this long to leave this review due to trying to communicate directly with the hotel with regards to my stay in August but to no avail. I feel the same way I did when I stayed. All this hotel is interested in is receiving the money from booking but not customer satisfaction. Most of the staff within the hotel were very pleasant par a few one male in the restaurant and one lady working in the main bar. I found them to be very rude and they weren't approachable. Everyone else tried even though English wasn't their language. They tried but I felt frustrated from the lack of communication with regards to my dietary requirement. I emailed before my arrival. I had no response. I have emailed and called at least 15 - 20 times thereafter and I still have not had a response to my first email and the ones sent afterwards. I have spoken to the general manager along with reception the restaurant manager and not one of them have sought to review and remedy my concerns. Whilst I was there every meal I had I had to query what was in the food. I am vegan and thought travelling to country that has a variety of foods that the chooses for my requirement would be vast, However it was pasta, chips and salad every day. The only chick pea meal they done throughout the seven days was mixed with chicken, the vegetables mostly had cheese all over them including the salads or were over cooked, the salads mostly contained diary products. Just very repetitive foods. I had minimal available food again pasta pasta sauce and chips at the beach bar, no ice cream/sorbet at all. which I brought to managements attention. I paid full price like everyone else but did not have the wide variety like others. Which was one of the reasons i paid all inclusive so mama could not worry about preparing food but enjoy her week.It was stressful every meal time breakfast again fried potatoes and beans daily. yes there was fresh fruit available but I did pay to eat salad and fruit as this is all people seem to think vegans eat. There was no lentil main dishes no chickpea main dishes, no spicy potatoes foods and egg plant, nothing that I relate to eating when I visit Greek restaurants in London. I had to book online due to Teletext being awful with regards to accepting different payment methods, they took part payment then I was told the remaining could not be paid by AMEX but they could not refund my flight and I would have to pay the hotel directly which costed me an extra £250. Teletext didn't care or weren't bothered the agents were rude and not helpful at all. The rooms were basic and the complex itself was nice. The aqua park was great, the beach was nice. The best part was the pool side entertainment and the entertainers this is what made the trip ok. The staff who looked after the children every night were Lovely. the food awful, although for others there was a variety of desserts and meats available, but not for other dietary. - I had to ask for sorbet every time myself or my son wanted some as it wasn't out readily available like other desserts and they ran out mid stay - which we only had around 10 small bowls throughout the whole time only dessert available and none available in beach/pool bar management - dismissive Spa dated but lovely manager and receptionist environment is nice and was bright - the view of mountains was beautiful. Entertainment staff - Excellent/Outstanding Bar staff one of them a lovely long haired woman lovely reception staff pleasant cleaners ok, my room wasn't cleaned everyday along with no access to irons (only seven on the whole site) and clean blue towels. the room, basic dies the job but the toilet blocked and smelled for the first day I was there. Aqua Park - Good Overall I will never go back and only recommend if you want access to on site aqua park but I am sure there are other options that would be more cost effective.
